WTF? Am I Dying?

What the last poster is talking about is called Hypoglycemia. Its not nearly as serious as diabetes, but u have to make sure u eat every couple hours to keep ur blood sugar up and feeling better. Im not sure if this is related to what the OP is talking about.

Back on topic what ur describing doesnt sound exactly like a panic attack but it could be. Maybe some sort of anxiety or look at other things u did during the day and how u were feeling before it all happened. Theres always the possibility that the weed was laced or there was some bad chemical in there or something u were allergic to. Either way it doesnt sound that serious and u should be fine. If something like that ever happens again try and go through everything u did that day and how u were feeling and thinking before it all happened. If ur too worried it wouldnt hurt to see a doctor, but it doesnt sound bad.

And most importantly, just have fun. Thats what life is all about. Ppl with Cancer and serious medical disorders are encouraged to use marijuana. If they can do it with no problem, u sure as hell can with no problem at all. Dont worry about it and have fun.

Yeah, I don't think there's anything wrong with my Blood Suagr level however I can't be 100% because I don't know what my blood sugar level is, but every time I visit doctors (alot recently due to pins put in my hand) they say I'm perfectly healthy. HOWEVER, now that I mention it I have this belief that my broken hand (broke twice really badly, could be the cause. Before I broke it I was much more hyped when doing things, but in the process of making sure I don't break my hand a 3rd time and the stress of surgery and social reaction to my broken hand the second time could be the cause of anxiety/stress. BTW I was going through tough times, got mad, acted dum, lost my cool and broke it. So I beleive this is the source of stress, I'm starting to get over it due to my hand healing at an "amazing rate" and it looks "spectacular" in doctor words. Anyway sorry about the life story but thanks for all the help you guys have given. And yes Man Vs. Brick Wall, brick wall always wins. :hump:

Ok I couldn't find n appropriate thrad for this but this seemed the closest because people tell storys here.

Anyway...Last night me and the Posse bought an 8th of weed, some crazy dank shit. I can always handle it, it's weed. So i roll 2 Ls and the biggest one we do first. After that 1 L I was Zooted, unusually high. They want to spark the 2nd L and I just want to chill because my chest felt really weird. All of a sudden this stabbing feeling hit my heart and it ended with like a POP and then my eyes went really staticy like a TV and I got EXTREMELY light headed. I went outside of the shed we were in (I was pretty cold last night) and my heart still felt like it was loosing beat. SO I was chillin outside and i Started to feel better.

Then out of nowhere I get this sudden, BRIEF, splitting headache like a knife poking my brain and then it went away. SO i didnt smoke at all after that and I ate a Black and White cookie and drink an Arizona and felt so much better.

To tell you the truth for once in my life I'm afraid to smoke again tonight.
 Great story man...

Nobodies ever died from weed... And I doubt it was laced with PCP or anything, else it would've happened to everyone...

My opinion is; You and your "posse" were hotboxing a shed, and there was most likely a lack of oxygen from inadequate ventillation... Basically you suffocated a bit. In actuality, it was the paranoia that caused a panic attack which is exactly what you described...

 Good story...

I've had a few of those "omg im dying" moments too. A few times i realized it was from me taking a 5-htp and st. johns wort mix then i read about possible serotonin syndrome. to much serotonin in the blood.
with these symptoms.

  • Agitation or restlessness
  • Confusion
  • Rapid heart rate
  • Dilated pupils
  • Loss of muscle coordination or twitching muscles
  • Heavy sweating
  • Diarrhea
  • Headache
  • Shivering
  • Goose bumps
i guess the same can happen with people taking prescription antidepressants as well.

but the other times it was pure anxiety attack. But as soon as i took a meditation class i haven't had single panic/anxiety attack while smoking no matter how high i was. I think it comes down to that fear of dying and getting that thought out of your head. It seems to be the main catalyst behind the whole freak out. If you can learn to say "fine so what if i do die" it kinda tricks your mind in letting go of the stress. its wierd but it works
