I'm still here...I read until about 2:30 am. I haven't punched anything ...yet! I want to pass it along to my dad when I'm done. Getting him to vote for a Trudeau is going to be like pulling teeth, but this book might do it. The Farley Mowat quote at the beginning might carry some weight for him...The grew up in the same little Ont. town and Farley was a regular at my grandma's store.
It's pretty heavy reading compared to the 'James Patterson' stuff I usually read, so I'm slow! I am about half-way through chapter 2. I find myself going back to re-read a lot of it. I'm waiting on a bus to pick up the group of kids and take them up the mountain this morning, and I'm going to take the rest of the day off and read.
