You have to wonder why you need a permit, I mean the amendment does not give the right to Assemble, it gives the right to peaceably assemble. If its peaceful why do you need a permit? Is it so you don't actually schedule your day for the tea party on the same day the Mothers Against Men are having their Man hating speeches? If just 1 person is going to be their does he need a permit? Does the guy in NYC with the John 3:16 sign have a permit to carry that? In the future will I need a Permit to go to the park with my grandkids to play in the sandbox or use the swings?
Anyone who demonstrates more than once finds out real quick that you need a permit, its been like that for a long time and I assumed it was common knowledge. these people here if they are serious will go get the permit and come back to show that know it all park cop ( he isn't SWAT) what is really up. jrh I agree with you when it came to the TASER part of the video, I thought he was reaching for a pen and paper and guffawed at the text over. You will have to admit the cop does not know his law very well and I think that really is the point of the video, dumb ass cop.

What the hell ... we need the government's permission to start a business, to build a home, to get married, to own a car, to drive, to hunt, to fish, to own a firearm, to leave the country, to enter the country, to transact large cash transactions, to work, to enter national parks, to take drugs we deem beneficial, to enter a profession, and on, and on, and on, and on.
