Would this be good for a indoor set up?

-tent:24x24x60 in

-light kit: 400W MH and extra HPS bulb Ballast says "Bulb Compatibility: 400 watts HPS AND MH"

-purple on sketch= -oscillating fan

Now:

1) For this size should I use a 4 in or 6 in inline fan with carbon filter? I have read that if I planned to go bigger later the 6 inch would be good but, I have also read that 6 inch may be too much right now for a tent this size.

2) Does the sketch of what I plan look good? I Do not think I will need an intake fan.

3)Should the duct come out the top or the side?

Think It needs to be a bit bigger in my opinion. Your not going to have shit for space... Is this the size you WANT it to be, or what you have to work with?

You'll seriously have to grow the things in like 1 - 2 liter pots... 2 foot is very small man, i dont know...

This is the tent size I have now. I could go bigger but i would have to buy another one. If I have to I will.

How many do you think will fit in here? Would doing SCROG help?

if i were you i would mainline for 4 or 8 main colas with 1 plant in 5 gallon container.. veg until the plant is like 3 feet including container.. you will need to use all the tricks to get a short bushy and sturdy plant... supercropping, topping, LST, and pinching.

otherwise 4 plants 3 gallon 10"x10"x14" roughly sized containers..

also like others have said that is a bit much lighting.. you could easily light 2 or 3 times that area... also going to need a lot more airflow with cooler temps to makeup for the smaller space... a quick fix would be to turn down to 75% (300watts) if you have digital ballast.

since you already have the purple autoflower i would suggest 1 gallon containers with coco and nutes... as for nutes... all purpose food, bloom food, and cal/mag.. 5.7-6.0 pH. Do not top or do any training. keep them on an 18/6 light schedule at 75% if possible. keep the light far enough so it doesnt feel hot to your hand at the canopy. light is important but overheating is a pretty bad thing.

Any reason why you suggest 1 gallon? Does using coco make up for the smaller size? I ask because would not 2 gallon allow for all 5 seeds or 3 gallon allow 4 plants

Any guides on using coco? i have read that it is better than soil but, much more involved.

I wouldn't try and put 4 plants in a single container. They will compete too heavily for nutes and root space to be very productive. More room for roots = more energy for bigger buds.

I misunderstood your grammar. My apologies.
