Dopey's first organic garden

hello all, this is my first time using all organics. also only my second time growing indoors, my first result ended terrible and I yielded about 2 ozs from 600 watts with 6 plants :( I thought it would be easy as I had been growing trees outdoors for years and always had decent success. I had to learn some lessons inside.

I am using FFOF for soil. I added worm castings, micos, and high p guano. for teas I used maxicrop seaweed, compost and molasses a few times in veg. they have been under12/12 for 11 days now and I have used the same tea but with budswell powder added.

they are in a 4x8 tent but only using 4x4 square of it under 600 watt HPS hortilux super HPS. they are in 3 gal smart pots (next time I will use 5 gals) and there are 6 plants total.

I wanted to post in the organic section since I learned by reading what a few guys here have to always say. I will update until I finish the crop. sorry I didn't do a start to finish I didn't have a camera. next time i will drag them out from the hps and see if I can get better shots

for sure it does look good! I was kinda worried that they had got bigger and bushier than I had thought and was thinking I made a mistake with only 3 gals. seeing as yours came out fine maybe I shouldn't stress it.

Right on dopey! Lookin forward to some organic porn .....

I'm happy to have an audience :) thanks! If they stay on the track they are on it will be better than my first indoor experience. I should have borrowed a camera and posted pics of that mess, everyone would have a good laugh.

the 3 gal pots were what i had from my coco grows & i had the same thoughts as you concerning their size but they worked out good a 4 gal. was my choice & i was gonna transplant but the roots were already through the walls making it impossible for me to transplant without serious root tearing so i ran with the 3 gal ones i think youll be ok & by the time this is done youll have a better idea of what you want i used gh 3-part flora series nutes & the keep it simple schedule

Just do what the rest of us do.
Hide our mistakes.
I have lots of bloopers

hi herk, glad you stopped by here. yea i know the roots are going through the bottom for sure, and since I have started 12/12 and also run out of space I couldn't transplant any longer. do have 5 gal smarts sitting in the corner i will use them next time and I think grow 4 rather than 6. still learning a lot daily about growing indoors.

I took my plants out, moved them around and gave them another tea with castings, budswell and molasses. I took some individual shots. they average 2' and seem to grow an inch a day.

the strains are 4x 8 ball kush from barney's and 2x Nepalese hybrids. the Nepalese were freebies from hemp depot and I bought the 8 ball kush partly because it said it was a good beginner strain and since I mangled my first indoor try I thought i needed something they say is easy to grow. also it said Afghani x Pakistani and I was used to growing Afghanis and similar plants outdoors and also like the buzz from them. they take care of my anxiety well and help me sleep. I am aware of the hate for Barney's and was not really aware of all of it when I had bought them. they have done fine by me so far with these plants.

4 out of 5 8b kush fem seed sprouted and 4 of 4 Nepalese sprouted. all four Nepalese ended being females from reg seed. as they filled out the space I culled two that were my least favs. they have vegged for 35 days under t-5s for a couple weeks then 600 watt MH for the rest of veg. and not have been under 12/12 for 12 days.

so this may be a pic heavy thread and if you guys have anything you want to post go ahead, anything growing related.

I had to show you all what you have waited for the bud shot :) haha! not really, no buds here yet. this is what they do have a few hairs at the nodes and nothing more yet. they are lush and green with little distress I can see and they should have bud forming up soon I think.

Having a cam so handy is nice.
Sometimes I start looking back and get lost. I take product package pics and all that dumb shit.
Its easier than remembering.
I grew bubba kush and it grew alot like yours.
I like the indica stuff.

yea I like indicas as well, they seem to agree with me real nicely. i hope they do get some donkey dongs that would be great! I dream of donkey dongs, wait that doesn't sound right...
