My first grow :)

Greetings everyone.

New grower here. and wow so far its a total learning experience.
Since I am where it is illegal I had to go outdoors.

I just put my babes outside after a week of hardening on my balcony.
they are about 3 weeks old now and want to know best time to start feeding nutes.

I kept one at home for testing purposes and do see the growth process.
they are now showing a third set of leaves. So, i think its about time to feed some mild nutes.
But have many questions.

1. WOuld now be a good time to start with some nutrients?
2. HOw often should nutes be used? I didn't think it should be every watering.
3. Protection: rain here can be heavy. any suggestions?
4. Nutrients: I couldn't find any decent synthetics because i am also in a foreign country that doesn't sell anything online in english. so its hard to determine what to get. Most stuff i found is like a 20.20.20 or even maybe a 10.10.10 but those are too strong. they'll kill my plants i think so i wanted to try:
coffee grounds filtered a great deal
banana tea filtered also a great deal
5. Composting: I got a compost hole going near my grow but that'll take a long time to get ready. so its for next year. I started with some chicken bones, some banana peels, an egg and threw some leaves on the top and then peed on it. then backfilling after mixing it up some. (Will this be okay for next year? Do I keep adding more scraps to this pile?)

I know i've asked alot on my first post but this is really like an adventure thing too for me.

My garden had to be made quite far away. I am in a major city with a lot of people.

its also terribly hot. so I opted to go up higher into the mountains by motorcycle for this adventure.
The air quality great improves out there, the heat is far less, humidity down too. just the drive is so far.

But if you were me, the only supplies going around are asking up to 50 usd a gram. I can't afford that.

Anyway, hope everyone is enjoying this and wish for everyone to stay safe.

i may not succeed but i think the entire process is going to be fun. The rides out to the garden are very beautiful and bring some peace of mind in this chaotic world of ours.

more about my first grow soon.

If I was actually growing illegally I would not put plants on my balcony, seems like a security risk.
Agreed be careful op

Regarding the compost hole most don't do that they make a pile and turn it every now and then too and keep adding to it as they go along in my experience

yes ive watched a few videos on yt but thought it would be better to keep it in the ground because i wanted to keep it from being detected as well.

but would you say that this would work as well?

Idk cos I have Never composted in a hole id worry about predators eating your worms tbh bud only I have only did it in piles or in a compost bin

with regards to compost, if you turn it over to the patch of ground besides the compost pile, its easier then turning it, it does the job quite well. dont forget to put twigs and stems in the pile, it makes space for the compost to breath, you will get more nitrogen eating bacteria and critters. egg shells, baked in the oven and ground up in a blender to a powder are great for calcium.
nettle tops are great nitrogen sourse. if you can make space for a comfrey patch, .you just put it in with some water, it rots down and turns into a black smelly liquid, you don't need much of the stuff to folier feed or just water in round the base of them when it comes to flowering time. comfrey and seaweed solution and fluvic and humic acid will bulk your plants up real nice. hope this info helps

These are the Reserva Privada Kosher Kush genetics I came close to losing. So I did a F3 on those and then crossed KK x GG#4 S2. So I'm curious to see how that tastes. KK is one of my favorite Indicas. I'm wondering if the GG#4 will give her legs or, anyway as usual just Curious :eyesmoke:
