I just recently added in a 400 watt MH in my closet, and all I can say is DAMN!

Check the amperage on the strip and the circuit! IMO Rated watts are kinda BS, like rated lumens; You should take it with a grain of salt... They promise more than they could ever hope to give! Figure:
1800 watts divided by 120 volts should give you 15 amps on the power strip (its FAIL point)... 600hps on regular US wall power runs at about 5 amps, plus a 400 hps at about 3.75 amps, plus fans, pumps, heaters (most heaters are fairly high wattage/amperage too) ..... Keep in mind, most of the circuits in most American residences are about 10 amps and that's their FAIL point... You may want to play it cool and use a different circuit breaker if you plan on using much more electricity...
