Hello World,

Im back for round 6 of my painful journey. anyone interested in my bio check the sig.

Lets go.

ok I still have the 400W hps cab, 30W UV-A&B light, Dual squirrel cage exhaust, and 4" intake. (pics of the cabinet attached)

this round im venting into the attic thru a hole I cut in the ceiling.
its hot outside so we have ac on to control the temps, humidity, and smell..
so heat wont be an issue this time.

I switched up my soil mixture! I was inspired by the Cannibis Grow Bible to try a new method.

This time for soil mixture Im using:
FoxFarm%20Ocean%20Forest%20Organic%20Potting%20Soil%20Mix.jpg

1 Bag of Fox Farms Oceans Forest

0f7c9746164c6dee5efb22cf780f176e.jpg

1 Bag of Miracle Gro Potting Mix (The regular stuff, in the smaller bags)

images.asp

1 Bag of Scotts Perlite (A soil amendment that promotes good drainage and aeration.)

floranova_duo.jpg

For nutes Im using Flora Nova Bloom, and Veg

No extra stuff, but one thing Ive learned so far is that cannabis is supposed to survive off of little nutes, that means I'll only be feeding them food every monday, but Ill be watering every few days to keep the soil moist.

Tite man I've seen a few of your other journals and have always stuck around to read them. Keep us updated as to your successes and downfalls so we may learn from mistakes and see what benefits. I am already subscribed. Gotta love that ganja.

Peace.

a lot of ppl already know about my previous breeding attempt in my last journal. I had a beautiful indica bagseed plant with extremely fast growth, low odor and a huge yeild (my largest wet yeild so far -4oz off of a single plant 12/12 from seed!)

I crossed that lady with a nice Bubblicious gentleman and reproduced a new faster growing, higher yeilding, lower maintenance strain that I introduce as Bubblicious² (or b2).

The other strain is Sweet Purple. I dont know much about this strain yet, you can only learn so much from a description..

but the seeds are pretty small, like the original bubblicious seeds I got from nirvana. I had a terrible germination ratio on those (luckily the b2 had nice mature seeds that germinated without any trouble.)

Hopefully I'll see something from the Sweet Purple this holiday weekend.

My germination method is simple.

I get a small pot, fill it up with my soil mix, thoroughly water the soil, and stick the seed into the soil.

it took the b2 seeds 3 days to sprout, so hopefully the sweet purple will sprout soon!

lol, hey thanks for stoppin by KMK I got a few tricks up my sleeves this time, so make sure U check back as often as possible :-)

:peace:

Like I mentioned, the b2 germinated without any problems, I germinated 6 total, this time i want 1 male b2, 1 female b2 and the bubblicious clone outside.

in order to stabilize the strain I need to cross the male and female b2. Im also aiming to back-cross the male b2 with the bubblicious clone.

In order to make sure of this I planted 2 b2 seeds in the same pot as the bubblicious. as shown in the pic below

(I later separated the 3..no worries )

about 2 weeks later (dont ask why its such a large time gap, just roll with it.. lol)

the bubblicious clone exploded with growth in the new pot. we got a lot of rain and barely any sunshine so the b2 seedlings didnt have much time to recover from the transplant, thats why they look kinda droopy.

but the other 4 b2 were indoors. I started to run out of space so I put one b2 outside. now I have 3 b2 indoors and 3 b2 and 1 bubblicious outdoors.

As for the b2's indoors..man theyre looking beautiful!

They're 2 weeks old as well.

..oh yea, I forgot to mention Im going 12/12 from seed this journal as well..

so far I have 1 confirmed male, 1 confirmed female, and the smallest hasnt shown sex yet. Im terrible when it comes to males, I stuck him in a see-thru container, and down outta direct light.

the other 2 are doing excellent.

I also snuck in a sneak peek of the entire grow cabinet for all who are interested.

my plants are camera whores, so I hope U all enjoy plenty of pics :-) :-) :-) :-)

Happy 4th of July everyone, and even those who dont know what it means I wish U a happy 4th of july also!!! (Independence Day)

I just fed the indoor babies secondary nutrients (all except the male), that explains the droopy. and the outdoor plants havent been fed anything yet. it looks like I might have a minor bug problem on one of my plants outside, I may spray them down with soapy water to get rid of the bugs if we dont get any rain soon.

the lime green color is a trait of the bubblicious, its not a nutrient deficiency just so everybody knows.

Man----YOU got E.T. in that closet????

good going spittin4cash...I can say that you've been inspirational for a lot of us...including me lol I've seen all the journals, keep it up man. I have a 12/12 from seed going as we speak that should be wrapping up here soon. So in the words of Ben Stiller...DO IT.....DO IT!!! haha

Both of My Sweet Purple seeds finally sprouted, day 1 of week 3!

I brought the 2 b2's from outside and put them under the 400w HPS @ 12/12 from seed. they still havent shown sex yet!
(no worries, they'll show by the end of the week.)

I killed one b2 male, and put the other male outside with the Bubblicious clone and the third b2 seedling (hopefully a female!)

and I have the CONFIRMED b2 Female inside as well under the 400w HPS @ 12/12 from seed..

coming to the end of week 3 my outdoor plants are looking great! they've all perked up and are doing well. Im glad I planted that bubblicious clone into that larger pot... she can finish in there if she'd like :-)

it looks like I may have stopped the pest from eating anymore of my b2 seedling. no pics of the damage bcuz its too minimum for me to worry right now. she hadnt shown sex yet, but I have a feelings she may be female.

the b2 male is looking good as well. he's in the bottom right hand corner of the group pic. he was the second male of the bunch, I choose him bcuz..well..look at him..no homo:peace: :-)

pics attached: bubblicious clone, and a group shot of the outdoor plants.

Spittin...

Looking great man I like all the work you are wanting to do with breeding. Really interesting. Have a question for ya. Have you ever tried germinating before you plant? The only reason I ask is if I read right it took 3 weeks for the sweet purple to sprout? Is that a long time or is that normal? Anyway everything looking good glad to see you have a new journal up and going. Keep the updates coming!
