I didnt mean to word it like that. Sweet Purple was planted on 7-03-08 and was above soil on 7-09-08.. my mistake, I never mentioned when I planted them in the journal, sorry about the confusion.

but ya Ive done the whole pre-soaking& paper towel method. I didnt like my results tho. there are way too many factors to keep in mind, temps, moisture, and you had to make sure U used the right paper towels bcuz some of them contains bleach, and if that comes into contact with the tap roots it'll kill the seed before it even sprouts!

so one day i decided to say screw all the other methods and K.I.S.S...
I just plant the seed, set it outside under the sun, and keep the surface moist.

nature takes care of the rest. :mrgreen:

today is day 7, of week 3 and I got a quick update for yall

I had to do some re-arranging due to space.

Indoors I now have the b2 confirmed Female, Bubblicious clone, and the 2 sweet purple seedlings

it'll probably stay like this for a while.

the bubblicious started to show preflowers outside, and my male from my last outdoor grow hit her with a few pollin "spores"..I guess.. but now she has a cpl seeds. its coo bcuz these 2 genetics together are gonna be sick!

Tomorrow will be monday -day 1, of week 4 12/12 from seed
I plan on feeding the b2 and bubblicious 1/4 strength veg nutes. this will be my first time feeding the bubblicious clone, so Im sure she will appreciate it.

Like I mentioned above, the bubblicious unintentionally got hit with a male that I have outside, its the same strain as the most mature flowering plants in my cab...

Im not pissed about it at all. :-)

I decided to fix up the cabinet before my next big move.

I rigged up a shelf for the ballast to get it out of the open, and 'enclosed' it inside the cabinet. I modified the shelf, and attached a picture frame to act as a heat shield, and attached the UV light to the bottom of this 'reflector fixture' as shown above...

in order to move the stale air in the ballast 'enclosure' I added a small carbon scrubber and a small air deodorizer, both with built in fans. in addition to the dual squirrel cage exhaust i already have.

I also put all of my electrical connections in the same place to make the overall cabinet a lot more stealthier and portable.

Everything still going great!

No major updates, just great growth. I fed all of my ladies inside the cabinet.

Bubblicious clone and b2 female reciveved 1/4 strength veg nutes.

Nothing for the sweet purple who are 1 week, 5 days old.

the outdoor plants still havent been fed, but they are growing nicely without it!

we havent had any rain, so the outdoor plants have had quite a drought, no wilting tho..this is a very strong strain!

Rastaman vibrations to all my viewers, and all U haters can kiss-ass....

ha ha ha ! I love it!

no, and no.

I havent shared anything with anyone yet, genetics still needs a lil tweaking.

and this time instead of letting them pollinate naturally, Im gonna wait till the males are mature and cut off a few pods, and manually pollinate the females.

I'll mark off the branches with pollen on them, and wait till harvest to collect the seeds from them

the outcome should be impressive...

since im a respectful man, I'll start with the oldest plants in the cab for this update.

Almost time to harvest so I wanna show everyone my plants when they begin to ripen. Unfortunately I dont know the strain, but I do have seeds of this crossed with my bubblicious.

I hope everyone enjoys the frosty bud porn!

B2 are exactly 5 weeks and 6 days old. both indoor and outdoor sprouted around the same time. The indoor one has been under 12/12 from seed, the outdoor ones are vegging...even tho all 3 of them have shown me sex.

Check out the crystals the indoor B2 is spewing out! it seems so soon compared to what im used to, but if I remember correctly the bubblicious shows trichs exactly 21 days after U switch to 12/12. and it doesnt stop till harvest!

Quick update for yall so enjoy.

Bubblicious

has been flowering since the beginning of week 6, hope to finish week 15

B2- Indoor

has been flowering since the beginning of week 5, hope to finish week 14

B2- Outdoor
still vegging, but theyre doing very well except for a lil yellowing. best news is that all 3 of them are CONFIRMED females

Sweet Purple- Indoor

has yet to show signs of sex. the description said to switch this strain to flower after 7-10 days of veg bcuz they're supposed to take off from here. THIS STRAIN GROWS SOOO SLOWWW..maybe thats why they were so cheap...

VERY VERY NICE. I love it my man, it's a nice lil experiment/journey all that. LOL. So, all of these are 12/12 from seed? How tall do the plants get and what kinda yields are you achieving? I am gonna try this my next batch after these clones. Sounds sick. I'll be posted, just as you have been. Peace my brotha!

another pic dump.

Ive still been feeding them 1/4 strength nutes, but the ones that are budding are being fed twice per week, the ones with out bud are being fed once per week.

I recently brought 2 b2's from outdoors and put them inside.

there is one b2 female and a sweet purple male outdoors. thats the breeding match right there.

Ive been away from my grow quite a bit these last few weeks, that explains the scarce updates. hopefully Ill be around to pollinate the lower branches on the female, if not I'll let nature take its course.

no, not all of them are 12/12 from seed. only the oldest b2 and the sweet purple have been on 12/12 the entire time. everything else has had a veg cycle.

If I dont top them they can reach as tall as 4 ft but it will only grow into one tall cola!
by topping them Im forcing them to stay short and grow outwards which will increase the yield.

speaking of yield, my last plant yielded 4 oz 12/12 from seed. since then I have gotten plants that ranged from 1.5oz-4oz after manicure.

I would only recommend U grow 12/12 from seed if U are growing for a specific purpose like stealth, or breeding.
it doesnt really save U any time on the overall grow, and actually the plants grow slower, and take longer to mature. otherwise you'd be best to veg for 2-3 weeks (24/0), and then flower for 8-9 (12/12). they grow faster that way. yield has never been a big deal to me tho, I grow for quality, the quantity just comes with it.

The Oldest B2 female (the one thats budding) has been on 12/12 for 7 weeks, and 3 days now.
The Sweet Purple female has been on 12/12 for 4 weeks and 3 days now...

like I said, 12/12 from seed isnt really worth it, unless U are growing for a specific purpose. the plants grow so much slower without a veg period, it doesnt affect the quality, but it definitely takes its toll on the quantity..but as long as U keep good spirit all will be well..

these plants are really moving right along now!.. I dont have any pics of the outdoor plants at the moment, but Ill have a few this weekend. I had a close inspection today and I saw that the sweet purple male had already released about 8 pods of pollin, unfortunately the b2 female I have out there was BEGGING FOOR WATER so she was droopy all to hell and might not've been hit with any sweet purple pollin..I dunno, but Ill check back and have pics when she bounces back.

Hello world.

I swear im not doing anything special for these plants to grow like this. Im just keeping them on a light nute schedule, since I know they dont need TONS of nutes to live and keeping the temps under 90*F.

I feed them once per week, 1/4 strength nutes.
and tap water between feedings. I guess I got some really good soil..or genetics.. I dunno.

but anyways

as U can see, the outdoor plants are still doing pretty well!

the outdoor b2 was topped last week and is already showing good growth!

b2 - outdoor

b2 is a strain that I created by crossing a bubblicious with an unknown indica female. my goal was for the fruity, and speed of growth. the next step is to cross it with the sweet purple male which I also have outdoor next to this beautiful female above. she's only showing a few hairs at the moment, but when shes ready it'll happen.

I kept himsmall by going 12/12 from seed and once he showed sex he went outside with my finest lady
