Geurilla Growing, Will It Survive ?

2 Days ago this plant was OK, not the biggest but kept growing.

Today I saw that it fall down, and that the ground where the roots are is filled with little ants, almost like baby ants, that I guess have messed with the roots and made it fall.. The leaves ended up pointing to the sky and twisted the plant.

I've straightened the plant, placed small rocks near the main stem, watered it with fertilizers and urine.. :)

Is there anything I can do to save it ?

Ants aerate soil. Some species strip bark from plants/trees. Ants also farm aphids(experienced it first hand this year). Terro ant baits reduce the population substantially/

So this might actually be good, cause they allow air to the roots easier.. ?

I flooded that plant with water, is that certain death for all of them or nothing ?

They will run away when flooded. And then come back in increased number after, when it is just moist.

I've had ant problems before and no issues with continued growth. Since my plants were in containers I flooded them to drive out the ants and then moved the bucket a few yards/metres away. I usually get an ant infestation in one of my plants every year.

If your plants are in the ground a commercial ant killer should also be okay. I tried it once with no issues but rather use water and muscle these days.

I see two different growth rates on the stem, or maybe I`m see`n things, and those one`s usually don`t make it.

You got a good shot at it but I would of made the stone pile pretty just in case she passes.
