Just an update on some of the ladies:

I figure I have about a month left on them. Are there any issues that anybody sees that might kill my plants in that timeframe? Or do you think i'll pull it off?

Yeah i've been shopping around for a USB microscope, but nobody seems to have them. I'll be harvesting based on trichs so i'll have to pick something up eventually

That feel when you have anxiety all day and are out of bud, so you snip off a tiny bud and quick dry it. I know its a bad habit but i feel sooooooooooooooooooooo much better now

Mmmmm... Tastes like chlorophyll, feels like great

Hey so early on some of my ladies were growing small pollen sacs, i picked them off early to see what would happen and they seemed to have stopped making them. I've checked my ladies quite thoroughly and haven't found a sac or a nanner. What gives? Why were my plants only herming the first 1-2 weeks of flower? Cuz now they seem to be doing great imo

Yea just keep an eye out.my first grow grew few bananas. I picked them off and in the end there was only 2 seeds.its in my journal.I think the 2 seeds were hidden banana in a bud.deff look close before your buds grow bigger and hide the bananas

I cannot wait to start a grow where I do not drop my lights on my plants! And keep track of many more things as well. But i'm sure I will be plenty happy with the quality of the herb this grow produces

Hey so does it look like there are seeds in the calyx's or are they just very large individual calyx's? Honestly I wouldn't be too bummed if I have a few seeds and it woudlnt surprise me.

Also, I started flowering 5/17/14 (give or take a day or two, pretty sure the 17th though), so I figure they will be done sometime between July 12-26. I'll pick up something to check the trichs but does that sound reasonable?

Might be seeds.and yea 8-10 weeks is average times.so keep an eye out after 8 weeks for sure

Looking real nice here Gemu. About to pick up a 24" 4 bulb T5 fixture myself. Judging by your results, healthy and should be ripe for the picking soon, it's looking like it's gonna be a good investment for vegging. How many bulbs are you using and do u think i should just spring for a 6 bulb fixture for my little 4 plant run??

I gotta say I'm pretty happy with my T-5 and the quality its giving me for my first go at it. My T-5 is the Sun Blaze 44, 4 tube. If you have the room you might as well go for the 6 tube, but i'm no expert. Were you planning on flowering with it or just vegging? I gotta say my plantslooked great vegging under the T-5. When i transplanted I could have buried them a bit deeper, but I didn't realise that until it was already done XD. Again, first time

Just to clarify, there are 8 plants in big pots, 3 plants in little pots (bag seeds). The mylar kinda makes it look like there might be more, these all fit under my 4 bulb. I imagine with a 6 tube 24" you could veg a few nice bushes. Sorry about it being such a little pic lol

Im thinking about vegging and flowering with them. Obviosly get the bloom bulbs for flowering. It seems like the cool alternative that I was looking for(heat is an issue for me as well). I'll probably end up getting the four bulb fixture judging by your set-up and the fact im only gonna have 4 fem'd seeds and maybe 2 or 3 bag seeds for fun.

Dang yeah i'm looking to order some fem seeds. I'd like to step up on the amount of training I do on future grows, but I only have one grow space right now so I cant clone and it would suck to perfectly mainline a male with limited space

I'm growing a few bag seeds, i'm pretty happy with how they are growing. They seem like they will yeild pretty well and have started resing up significantly more now that they have really started budding. In veg i was super happy i was growing them, in beginning flower i was a little less happy I didnt just pop some of my better genetics, and now i'm once again super happy to be growing them

Alright so I definitely have a handful of seeds forming on the lower parts of a few of my plants. I'm wondering how useful these seeds will be for me in the future? The bud they are producing is pretty frosty and some of them are seeming to yield pretty well, so as far as crossing these random strains i'm not too concerned. But will all my beans be hermies? Or maybe once i'm more experienced will I be able to use them to breed some of my own strains?

I guess what i'm saying is, is having these seeds fuuuuuuuuuck or alright? Or could it maybe be a cool thing?

I knew my plants were herming a bit in early flower so its no surprise to have a few seeds, i'm not concerned with finding the cause. I have to take a potentially few month break between this grow and future grows, so killing them would have been pointless.

I'll update pics in a day or so
