I am starting a new thread since my indoor LED grow is done. This thread is going to focus on the clones of the indoor Malawi Gold girl that I planted outdoors.

Here is a quick summary:

Just to let everybody know. Holy Smoke seeds was an offshoot of Malberry seeds (which only sold kilos of seeds). Now Malberry sells packs!

How hot does it get where you are. I would think that trash can would get hot as hell and bake roots. Obviously not tho..... Lol
I wrapped the can with bamboo screen to cut down on the heat. I also water often when it is hot (Last two months!).

Any update on that indoor sample you smoked?

I can't wait till she is covered with mature buds and all the theifs start coming out of the woodwork. Should get interesting.

Both neighbors are patients so I am not worried about them. It is all the other people who have seen them and told their friends... And the helicopter that flys over all the time and circles for 20 minutes

I hope it shows up on Google maps next year

Hi All,
The Big Malawi Gold clone had a misshap yesterday when I was watering. The weight of the water broke a branch! I had removed the stake from this branch a week ago to use in the garden. Now I have all of the branches braced with nice big stakes and that should get her through harvest. The broken branch was pruned trimmed and dropped in the mulch pile. The cola was placed in a pot of soil to see what will happen. The torn stump of the limb has been carefully trussed up with wire to close the wound.

Mine is in that stage! How long did you let her flower?

December - but she got rot. Last year the weather allowed me to go until January with a much better outcome

I was planning on harvested in december at the latest, but know that I know they could go until January I am going to aim for that. haha I was also thinking about chilling the water on colder mornings. Have you experiment with different water temps?

It's outdoor so usually whatever comes out of the hose or sometimes I leave the water in the bucket overnight.
