growing in straight perlite????

if a soil has absolutely no nutrients in it and you use it as a medium..... isnt it just the same as like growing in coco? if you add every nutrient yourself ..... iv grown 6 foot indoor plants in soil 50.50 hybrids... can a soil grow not be like hydroponic like coco coir is

Killer yields, no gnat or other root based pest issues, and no crazy ph swings or cal/mag retention like coco sometimes has.

What's not to like? Ohh yeah, no one sells a fucking big bag of course perlite... Miracle grow shit everywhere. My 100% perlite (minus a 2x2 starter rock wool cube) grows have been phenomenal, but I can't find a course, big bag source. So I use ecp and coco.

How old are those plants and do you feed with liquid neuts in veg and flower and how often?
Also can this method be used outdoors. Thank's!

between 3 & 5 weeks old from seed.
i feed em dutch master gold range one & add.27 for both grow and flower every watering but other nutrience has worked fine, they are in hempy buckets i lift it and if it's light then it's time to water ( usually every three days but every second day once they are a good size because they drink allot, i've never done it outside before so cannot answer that last question sorry.

I know a guy who uses polished stones from a craft store. The work fine. I grew a basil plant outdoors once in a five gallon hempy bucket. It was a beast!

I think op has moved on to another account.
