Have you looked at prison terms? people in Korea don't smoke cannabis, their possession charges are unreal, I always wanted to go to Korea but after I read about their drug policies I can't give them my tourist dollar.First thing I do when I look up a country is look into their drug policies if they can lock up their own citizens for 10 years for smoking a joint they can lock up my foreign ass for just as long.
Countries that the USA helped destroy and rebuild tend to have absolutely nuts drug laws.
I got a buddy who teaches English over there, he says they'll get drunk every night of the week and eat horrible food but "illegal" drugs are crazy forbidden.
edit : obviously someone in Korea will smoke pot, however it's not like China where the stuff is growing everywhere. I doubt Koreans will be open enough to sell you seeds with such a great risk.

They do exist.. just be very hard to find.
I remember a trip to S. Korea about 2 decades ago, was a 3 month trip and I kept pestering a friend there to hook me up with some weed cos I obviously havnt had any for almost 3 months lol.
One night towards the end of my stay there that friend took me to a night club and we went into a vip room out the back. What I then witnessed had me in stiches for days... we walked into a bunch of Korean gangsters sitting around a table that had a heap of pot seeds plucked from buds from a recent harvest.
Fuck me they were plucking the resin coated pod covering the seeds from a recent harvest for smoko!!
After a bit of a chat the boys offered me a joint which I refused and said I needed a bong, so after quickly putting together a plastic bottle bong in like a minute to which they were absolutely amazed by I smoked a cone of these seed pods from a mysterious Korean strain. Five mins later phuck me, I was plastered lol, was an absolute trip being ripped in korea and had a ball that night!
So yeah have a sniff around some clubs lol!

Actually i have friends that live in the country there they said they would look one can only hope as to the law I told them that if anything concerns them to drop the idea not a big deal just thought new landraces would be interesting
