Choosing what strain to grow ?

I'm guessing that's in centimeters, so two and a half feet by two and a half feet, 5 feet high, your 400w HPS at the top is gonna take at least 6 inches, and your stuff's gotta be around 12-16" under the light, so one and a half feet off the top. if you're in small pots I'll just say they're gonna be 8 inches off the ground. So you got about 3 feet of space to be occupied by plant(s). I think those tents are mostly supposed to be more for veg, you could flower one or two though. Autoflowers might be good, or you could do 12/12 from seed and LST during the first few weeks to try and control the height. I have no experience with autoflowers (though I've heard on this forum that they are less potent) but have a friend who does the 12/12 from seed/clone thing nonstop. He gets about an ounce and a half per plant without lst.

i was thinking about 5 - 6 AutoFlowering AK47 1 - 2 oz of a plant 6 oz will be the minimum but for 60 - 65 days that isnt to bad im growing for smoke not money .

if you can fit them in the space go for it, I'm just thinking if you do 5 gallon pots with 12 inch diameters, you could maximum stuff four in there.
Like I said, I have little experience, and none with autoflowers. I do believe though that autoflowers grow a taproot that goes deep and photos roots grow from the top down like an expanding sphere, I could be wrong, but if that were the case you'd get better yield from autos with taller pots, though it would cut down on the actual plant space, which might or might not reduce yield.
I'd say if you're putting four plants into that space though, they're gonna fight each other for light. I'd rather do one or two and make sure each plant is perfectly happy, if it were me

I agree, I would only suggest 1-2 plants in that space, because of the height limitations you are going to have to make them bushier with training, or you won't get any good yields. I would suggest either getting a taller tent, or growing just a few plants, but they will give you more yield, you could try a sea of green method perhaps, and grow more plants, but again just not enough room to get good yields, now if you aren't looking for a whole lot per plant, by all means grow 5-6 smaller plants, but I personally prefer to grow fewer but bigger juicier plants.

Me personally I'd put 2 or 3 autos in 5 gallon pots and see how that pans out. Blowin is right that auto are a bit less potent but some nice potent strains are available. I grew a white widow by pyramid seeds, 16 % thc and very good yield as well. Another potent auto I've heard is Afghan kush Ryder by world of seeds ( have that one just haven't popped it) and auto ak by female seeds.

Yo John what kind of ventilation do you have for your tent? Make sure that is situation sorted out before you do anything.
