There used to be a white entertainment television, it was called network TV. There was a market need for BET, that's why it's thrived. I don't think it's racist to cater to a certain market when that market is large enough to make it profitable. Univision is Spanish speaking, I don't think it's being prejudiced against English speaking people, it just fills a market need.

I understand your point, if there was a White Entertainment TV station (WET is porn isn't it?) there would be outrage from the race pimps, but it's time we marginalize those people.

It caters to country music fans, it doesn't package itself as a network for white country music fans (which is redundant, I know). I think that's the issue some people have with the double standard of BET and the Sharpton think a-likes. We need a black Oscars with only black winners just segregates yourself more and creates division with those who gaf. I don't watch the Oscars (you can't win if the movie sucks) or any of the award shows for broadway or music either. I know what I like and don't need polls and popularity contests to validate my opinion like so many here. I will know who won by the next day anyway, you can't avoid that shit. It's like the royals.
