C99- Three Leaf - Citrus Pheno

Anyone have much experience with c99?

I got 2 seeds and popped one, its defiantly a citrus pheno but it throws three leaves out like it knows whats up.

It's super antsy to get to flowering, it sexually matured very fast and started triching up and pre-flowering at 2/mo veg. Takes to HST very well.

I'm not complaining but curious to know what's up with the three leaf's.

Using organic soil, r/o, hps.

pretty much looks like it. did it show 3 from beginning? google it.

Pretty much, had some one blade's at the start. Google turns up people with the same question, they tend to believe its a strain trait, light leaks or under feeding.

I did not see much on RIU however so was hoping for more info.

i never got to finish mine, was a male. bagseed from some swag. what causes it.?.?. no one knows but imo is same as anything thing else jus keep it happy.

Who was the breeder? If it was G13 then there is no telling what the hell you really have.
I have never had a "citrus" pheno of C99. Except for the fake C99 that comes from G13, which is not C99 at all.

There supposed to be from The Brothers Grimm. Got them locally from another grower.

Umm preflowers at 2 months veg isn't quick or antsy to get to flowering, more like a little slow lol. Should be showing around week 6

Find out more if you can. Real Brothers Grimm seeds are worth a fortune, but would be a number of years old. Most likely a descendant by some breeder. I'm looking to get a good C99 right now.

Showing is a few hairs, right. The picture above shows the pre-flowers/trichs that were visible at mo/2 veg. That is not common in my experience.

Find out more if you can. Real Brothers Grimm seeds are worth a fortune, but would be a number of years old. Most likely a descendant by some breeder. I'm looking to get a good C99 right now.

I did not know they were not available to the public. I thought the seeds were readily available online but I could not find a single one. I will see if I can learn more. I just want a heavy producer with great smoke.

There is no way it is real Bros Grimm. The real C99 didnt autoflower and didnt smell like citrus. Grapefruit, pineapple, rotted fruit are the smells that generally come from C99. I would guess you have a cross.

You need to be looking for Joey Weeds C99 (which is probably impossible to find) or Mosca's C99 F(x) releases or the Bx1. I'm running the BX1 now in search of the pineapple dome pheno, can't go wrong with a Mosca release.
