My old dealer has pic of my grow on his phone- he's in jail

I sent a few pics of my rdwc setup to my old dealer out of state cause he used to grow and got some tips from him. I also sent him one pic of my one plant i have going and my lights. He got arrested and was the biggest pot dealer in my old town got caught with 40k and 5 pounds. Anyhow do you think the police would bother to look further into my info after seeing this in his phone. I mean he must have texted hundred or more people a day. Please no bs comments how you shouldn't send pics and all that. I know. This was the only person I've sent to. Give me some honest sane input on what you do think about what the police would do?

Most dealers I know delete messages and don't keep photos of stuff like that on their phones.. Let's just hope he did delete them messages/pics before he got done. Hope all works out, good luck.

I don't think he'd keep messages for long. I know I used to delete mine right after. Or use a burner phone and it was in the garbage weekly. I think he'd be smart (even though he was busted) and have burner phones to not leave a trail.

Android's are encryptable, and they won't be able to break that even if they physically have the phone. sms/mms is an awful way to communicate about potentially illegal activity. As someone who's served on Grand Jury, sms/mms is the first go-to for investigators. Also, I have a good friend who is the one asked by county police for customer records (cell company employee) for investigations, and he says they are always trying to throw their weight around, asking for favors/ asking for shit without a warrant. They routinely get it (not from my friend). Also, wipe your exif data before sending out those evidence examples. Live and learn, nothing you can do now.

Ya, I was just thinkin this here. In this case, they might think they have enough on their hands with him as it is.
Only thing on the other hand is, LE often tries to see just how far up the chain they can reach. I can almost assure you he's already faced the gauntlet of questions centered around just where the 5 lbs came from.

How do you "wipe data" never heard of that? Always delete my shit

I had someone take a photo of the room I'm building, i ripped that shit out of their hand and deleted it..no pictures, no talking, it doesn't exist. You knew you shouldn't have done it, you don't want "BS comments", just a pat on the back and to be told everything is going to be alright. Follow basic security protocol and you won't have to worry about the consequences.

Everyone that has posted(positive and negative)are absolutely correct the cops would have grilled him offering him bs deals that don't exist trying to get him to rollover on another unsuspecting person that lives on the outher side of the law......but....if this guy is wide enuff he would have told them to fuk right off then and only then the cops would scratch their asses and decide that ok we have him stone cold with what they will make out 5 pounds of green is worth 5 times as much as it really is and the 40k in cash should be enuff to get them that pat on the back the yearn for so fkn much....so...imo...I don't think you have anything to worry about .....but...as previously posted .......don't be so stupid again...live and learn...

make sure your "location" is always "off"..that way when you send stuff..to the best of my knowledge is best.

It is an unlawful searchandseizure and violation of number 4 I believe to search phone without proper warrants however it isn't hard to secure a warrant once a "dealer" is taken into custody and is in possession of phone and or drugs and or money in large quantities, it was a hot topic for discussion last march and April and it helped in my case big time, it is hard to say what's tell you, it can go either say or not at all.

A lot to comment on this post, burner phones are quite easily trackable/trace able these days you can secure a warrant in 24 hours and if your being watched, you switch you Number they will be on your new number within 24 hours, they can track them tap them just like regular phone, also if you buy prepaid and just keep changing number lol no good they know the serial number of the phone and know each time it is activated with phone time, also if your a burner phone person don't buy your own burner phones... Your on camera buying a traceable purchase. Don't believe me? I know a guy who went to Wally World, bought straight talk phone, robbed somebody for a Rolex on Craig's list, they tracked phone purchase to walmart dated and timed his purchase and caught him on camera. That however just because you purchased isn't proof, it's circumstantial but if they have you under investigation already it doesn't help you bought the phone. So lesson to be learned everybody needed to be way more careful these days the government is winning the war on drugs in mane thus far, I hope you the best of luck with what's going on, hopefully new phone or pics deleted since you sent them, shitty feeling thinking your being watched because of somebody else when your being as careful as you can on your half of things, I had it happen to me, I got caught up because a kid I sold small smoke to got arrested shooting a shotgun in his back yard after neighbor called on him. He was getting summonsed for shooting to close to town and they found roach on his porch leading to a search of back pack on the porch leading to discovery of an ounce and his phone which they searched knowing he was a small time pot pusher, they found my number because the little dub didn't clear out any texts and had my fucking name in his phone!
