Getting water from a pond maybe 100 yards away

Whats up everyone? Ive been growing in the same place for the past four years now and i've about had it lugging 40 gallons of water through the woods and knee high muck at least once a week. I am hoping to get some sort of a water pump, preferably a hand pump or something quiet that i can connect a long hose to that i can then use to fill up a 55 gallon drum that is closer to my spot. I was thinking i would be able to find something online perfect for this within a few minutes but after looking for the past few hours i havent had any luck. If anybody has any recommendations or could help in any way it would be appreciated, thanks.
 
Is the pond higher or lower than your grow? Depending on if you are fighting gravity , or working with it will make a difference on the pump..once you start having to pump uphill things get a little more difficult. If you're downhill..you could get it going with just about any type of pump and then let gravity do the work..put a valve on the end so you can turn in on and off..you shouldn't have to prime it again all season as long as the end at the pond stays submerged..

Some people really dont like guerilla growing but I dont really see them as being a problem. They havent made it any harder for me to grow, im limited by my budget and space. When I have a large grow I actually feel better knowing there are huge grows the police/feds are more interested in. They can spend their time and money on them while the rest of us get pretty much left alone. I'm just saying I havent seen any direct effect from them. police/feds still have their "war on drugs" and every city/county council meeting I've been to they have never mentioned guerilla grows as reason to restrict or ban growing. If i wasn't fortunate enough to own my place, I would probably be doing it too.

Unfortunately for me and everyone in my county, commercial growing was just completely banned because they say there is too many people doing egregious grows... So I actually am directly effected by people like this... Now I can only do 10x10 :(

"egregious" grows can be on land owned by the grower or on land where the grower has permission to be there. Unless they said it's because of growing on county, state or unauthorized land then I would say you were directly effected by it. My county just voted 5 to 1 against any grow restrictions. They were debating it due to grows being a nuisance or egregious, although they didn't use the word egregious.

Growing weed on other peoples property is illegal... It doesn't really matter if it's one plant or 100. This is what the police are focused on the most and when they've had enough, they just ban it for everyone, so it doesn't really matter if it's egregious or not honestly ... Your growing marijuana on land that someone worked hard their whole life to buy. I just feel if you want some land to grow on, then go get a job and pay for it like every other tax paying citizen out there.
 
Years ago when I was first starting to want to grow weed, and I didn't have much money or land to do it, I didn't stop and think, how can I grow on someone else hard earned land; I told myself that I'm going to keep working hard at my job and save enough to get a good spot to grow. So I don't have any empathy for people who want to say screw everyone I'm just gonna grow on my neighbors land. Cause I might be that neighbor your saying screw you to.

Getting a job and working hard doesn't always pay off to by land to grow on. I worked as a Subaru mechanic for 6 years and was no where close to buying land. It wasn't until I was lucky enough to get a wife that makes good money before we could buy. I'm not saying that people should be growing on others land but I really don't mind most of the grows on government land, maybe if laws weren't so screwed up people wouldn't be trying to hide it in the woods. Moonshine is coming out of the woods. I don't know of any cases where land owners that didn't know about the grow on their land getting in trouble. I'm in no way saying it's the right thing to do, I worked and got lucky enough to buy land, but I do think people gotta do what they gotta do. A job and hard work don't always get you ahead in life, people like me have major medical problem and have setbacks that are no fault of their own. Success stories about working hard and moving up are stories of encouragement not the norm. I came from a family with very little and am lucky to be where I am now.

Those 10x10 restrictions aren't because of guerrilla growers, especially ones who are in in non-legal states like the OP I presume. Remember, guerilla growers don't follow restrictions nor do legislators expect them to. Those restrictions are because of legal growers taking up an acre plus and growing all 5-12lb+ plants or doing huge light-dep hoop houses and growers going way over there numbers which draws a lot of traffic that non-growing neighbors don't appreciate.

And I it wasn't for guerilla growers growing weed illegally in decades past and distributing it to people so they could smoke it illegally so that the general public could see the government's propaganda was total crap, this country wouldn't be anywhere close to where we are with legal MMJ and legalization in general.

If you don't like your county's restrictions you have options, e.g., petitions, voting out representatives, moving to a different county, etc., but blaming guerilla growers, especially ones who are most likely in non-legal states, is silly. You should complain to all your representatives instead of some small time dude on the internet. How many of your representatives have you called with your complaints and how many petitions have you printed out?
