My father got lung cancer after 40+ years of 2+ packs a day..quit cold turkey the day they told him he had cancer. He even said after a week of not smoking he felt better than he did in 10 yrs..even with the active cancer. I talked extensively with some of the Dana-Farber Oncologist about smoking weed, manly to help my father, but not one of them,
NOT ONE OF THEM, had
ANYTHING negative to say about smoking marijuana, they did prefer edibles or vaporizers over combustion, but that was all they didn't like about it. My fathers DR was actually pretty pissed that they weren't allowed, at that time, to prescribe it for their patients. He talked about the cancer suppressing abilities, especially with my fathers type of cancer, and told me..and i quote "fuck the law, you do what you need to make him comfortable". He beat it, even though he didn't use MJ as much as i would have liked him too..
I'll be tokin to the grave..
