Ohh...yea by continue I meant take cuts and root them. Man of course I'm going to bud these ladies!! I need my medicine! But you make a great point with the CFLs. I may make a small veg box out of a cooler or pc case.

Course man my bad I was thinking youd done such a good job for something that you didnt plan on finishing. With the veg box though you could also just get a small canvas closet off amazon for like $20 or even a decent sized cardboard box and line it with mylar/panda film and then you wouldnt have as many issues with space as you would with a pc case just because I'm not sure if the smaller CFL's do this but one of my plants grew too tall and started touching the bulb and the leaves died within a couple hours of being up against the bulb.

That my biggest concern. i know that cfls need to be really close. I going to order some good indicas or hybrids that will stay more bushy next. Any luck ordering seeds online? Who'd you go with?

Yeah man I went with herbies and it was awesome, I mean I live in the UK and thats where they are based so I got my seeds in 2 days which was epic but I've heard good things about them delivering to the states and stuff as well. Also got 3 freebies (1 Feminised Big bang x Northern Lights and 2 Afghani) with the tiny 3 seed order I placed. So all in all I would definitely recommend them and I know I'll be using them again.

If the temps are ok then I suspect your canoeing is down to fans blowing directly on the leaves
you should keep that grow going, they'll give you nice bud and it'll teach you so much
I've found http://original-ssc.com/ great for seeds and always give freebies, dunno what they're like for shipping to the states but they offer stealth packaging (they have a US site that I can't be bothered looking for now

They're great looking plants but a blue spectrum light during veg would have given you broader leaves, (still gotta get the right ones for my closet) have you a closet spare? It doesn't take much to have an adequate veg area, the light needs are much lower and air circulation is easier because they're smaller plants under less lighting

Hey guys just posting some updated pics..no journal so here is where they will go! The girls are 3 weeks into flowering and filling out nicely..sorry about the HPS lit pics! Any questions/comments/advice welcome!

Only thing I've done is bump up my nute (bloom) dosage and some light LST. I havent done any defoliating since the week before I flipped them to 12/12. Man what haven't I learned!! next grow im going top and train EARLY! Two of the girls got way taller than I expected. I'm also going to try keeping them under MH for the first two weeks of flowering next grow too to see if i can minimize the stretch. I now live by flushing/watering with rainwater and mixing nutes with distilled water. I no longer use tap water especially when mixing nutes. And since having messed up my photoperiod last night i'm making it a habit to check my timers. Might go soiless next grow too. All in all this has been a very rewarding experience. Cant wait for the finish line!

a friend of mine had the plants on 12/12 MH for the first week and he thinks it knocked the crop back week compared to a crop of the same clones in a different grow. I'm interested to know how it goes for you.
I was warned to expect + 30% growth in the first 2 weeks and they pretty much do that

This crop was under MH for 9 weeks in veg..I think i may have had the light too far b/c they were stretching before I flipped them. Yea I tested the tap water and it was reading 330ppm and ph was 7.4. I just walk to the store for distilled and collect rainwater instead. How often do you feed each week?

in veg I water, water, feed, in flower water, feed, feed.
I water veg every 5-8 days, depending on what pot they're in, what point in there growth etc.
I water flower every 4-5 days
I always judge by finger in the soil to the first knuckle when that's dryish I water
I know I'm tight-assed in giving them water but I feel it'll give for a better smoke in the end, it's early days for me and I might change over time
we're probably in very different climates and if it's warmer and drier where you are you'll need to water more regularly than me, that's why I mention checking the soil

Bored at work so decided to post an update.. The girls are starting week 6. No more stretching..bulking up nice. Found a new hydro store near me and spent and hour in there last week. Got some Botanicare CalMag and some FF Big Bloom that I will try for the last 2 weeks of feeding.

Week 7 update...the girls are doing great! Getting fat! I'm thinking I'm going to feed them maybe 2 more times then I start my final flush..any comments/questions/suggestions are welcome!

Need some help folks!
So I did a little back tracking to try to figure out exactly how far along my girls are into flowering. Im about 62 day since the first pistils appeared. Both of my girls have yellowing/dying/falling off lower fans leaves as expected. About 75% of my pistols are orange but the tops are still mostly white. When would you guys suggest I start my flush?

Looking tremendous. The bud looks like it wants to keep going at LEAST another week. just be patient and it will pay off for you.

Thanks Peyote! Yea just trying not to fuck it all up. I figured I'd wait till 90% of the hairs go orange. May feed them something light one more time
