How much do you need to grow for your annual personal use?

need 4oz a month for butter and or coconut oil… smoke I don't know I never run out… probably 2-3 oz a month between 2 of us
 
Haven't had a grow in a while but trust me I keep the mail man bizzy. I smoke close to an oz a week. And been running threw five packs like it ain't shit lately

Fuck me thats my dream man... I can smoke a gram<1.5 a day in 4 joints without booze and get about my business with no worries. But if its proper stuff like the Blue I have just harvested I am struggling with half a gram at most its just so strong, shamefully I have no cutting off it but trying to re-veg the harvested plant it came off, its not looking too good. So strain dependent I suppose?

Ha yeah it will m8... the paranoia as to is it any good kicks in, then you build a tolerance, then you supply a mate saying "Its not that great then he replies 3 days later with "were you joking I've just come round, thats the best weed I've ever smoked" its the best hobby in the world, very addictive :weed:

My annual personal medicinal and recreational consumption comes out to roughly a quarter ounce daily or just over, so 100 oz/yr = 6 lbs of top shelf flowers.

That does not include another amount similar to twice that weight used to make budder and edibles.

Then there's trim for hash.

Soooooo... a pound or two a month, officer? :bigjoint:

I hear you. I am super enjoying growing as a hobby. Learned so much already. I didn't know the plants came in genders, or the difference in autoflowering and photoperiod, nothing about low stress training, nutrients, transplant shock, light intensity required, and many other factors that are needed for a good harvest.

My first autoflowering Lemon Haze is getting close, 2 weeks into flowering and has a great aroma, 8 fairly even colas. Had a few leaf problems (mainly claw tip from using generic nutes after she started blooming) but seem to be back on track now.

I can vouch for the Vaporgenie, I've been using mine daily for 6mos+ and am overall very happy with it. Any old school pipe smokers who want to try a cheap vaporizer ( and don't mind a small learning curve) should look at it. I find it a lot closer to smoking than the Arizer Solo I had, which was excellent but didn't suit my needs, and love the freedom from batteries/cordage you get with a flame powered vape. True you are slave to a butane can lol, but at least a full torch lasts days, not "sessions" like batteries.

Sorry, not my intent to derail....

I went through I guess a pretty standard oz a month buying, but saw the same 2-3x bump when growing, and am also just fine with it ;) No excess I want to let go of yet (rainy days and all) , other than donating to patients.
