Two cows

You're partly correct (who would've thought I'd say this), but Harrekin is more correct; unskilled laborers who came to work on civic projects, canals, and lumber. I'm not sure about the religious prosecution, unless they were trying to get away from the Protestants - if that's what you're talking about then yes you're correct there too. About a million Irish came during the Great Famine.
You changed my post when quoting it. I too led with coming here for a better life, unachievable there. So you entirely agreed with it...something that, if you did more of, would have you being right more often.

That's colon cancer, holmes.

Pretty sure it doesn't affect the Irish exclusively...

It doesn't, used to be quite common in the U.S. but with our excellent medical facilities and doctors who push colonoscopy's about every 5-7 years, it's pretty much benign. Just had a scope myself - no polyps. We popped a cork over that one as i'm in my mid 60's.

My best friend died of cancer colon at the age of 23. When they found the tumor it was as big as a baseball. Word to the wise, if you're over 45, DO NOT get lazy and not do the procedure. Only you can take care of yourself.

I would hope so, for your sake.. I been told by 20 plus people its an Irish disease.. Like sickle cell for blacks.

Speaking of "20 plus" that will be my margin of victory in madden. How about we make it interesting and the loser changes their profile picture? If I win you change to the 49ers and if I lose, I will change my profile pic to da buuuurs for a week?
