how to choose which plant to clone form

ok cool thanks i read something about having close nodes i think..im 2 1/2 weeks into flower think it is two late to clone off plants ..there starting to get white hairs everywhere
 
Never too late, I like to take clones at that time.. Strip all the lower growth shoots and toss em in cloner, they won't get enough light to amount to dick.

lights are out now ill grab some tomorrow and take pics..thank you by the way for the help
 
Ak48 right now was my first ever grow and now . I just transplanted into 3 gallons critical kush, 3 damnesia,1 Amherst sour ,1 double black and 3 unknown I got from seedmasters that was labeled that where freebies.. All the ones I just transplanted first week into veg

Take a clone or 2 from each and weigh the pros and cons.

I personally like the most potent first. Followed by structure. And the rest are usually not to important.

Some plants will lag til the last week and then blow up and are the dank.
 
i rubb the stems if i don't no what breed they are to see which one has the most potent smell then i will clone from that 1

yeah one plant is like so far behind doesn't look like anything is happening and the other 5 are seeng hairs everywhere..other weird thing was that on plant is small and bushy and rest all tall and lanky

I have a soft spot for runts and mutants. I have had plenty plants that I thought were going to be shit turn out fire. and on the flip side, I have had plants that just looked great but with shit for potency.
 
now there are a few ways to go. there is a saying don't put your eggs in one basket. or you can role the dice . what I do is I cut down clones from the biggest and tallest plant . there is usually one plant that is bigger just grown a lot more fast this is the plant you want to chop from. now if they are all the same then take clones from many plants because you never know what a plant will produce some times in flower you get that one plant that don't do shit and others that impress . you don't want to take from one and end up getting that one that don't produce .
