Neither. Just kept solution level high enough to just be touching d bottom of d starter cubes. Never changed d solution.

Skunk labs clone tek .25ml - 1L ro water.
Ph`d @ 5.67. Top up soultion same.
Mist once a day everyday. 5ml of solution from res onto base to soak d starter cubes everyday.
