Allstarts are only 860w thi right? Fired off a 1kw would be a waste of electricity no?

Whats ceiling space like? Wanted to go DE but 7ft ceilings
They make many wattage allstarts, from like 55 watts to 860, the sunplix 330 ballast is meant to run a 330 allstart and boost to 400.
If you're talking about the sunplix that runs the 315 I can find nothing at all wrong with these ballasts and am picking up a couple more ballasts tonight .

Philips marketing scam; they only run at 860W if your mag is plugged into 208V. At 240V they'll be pulling 1000W, plus the ballast itself. Don't get a mag; the LFSW units will drive the bulb much better.

Since I run mine vert and bare, a low ceiling height is no challenge for me.

If you can't do that, maybe you should talk to @dbkick about his Sunplix hookup. In veg, my 315W CMH lights are the equal of 600W HPS.
208 is 2 phase right?

I obly have 120v single phase

can yhe baddass run these?

was looking at the platinum...6bills on amazon just for the ballast

hey first, i'm guessing you are aware but i'll put this out there:
solis tek matrix ballast. you can run 2 600's off the one ballast. since you already have a 6, just add another one. 1200 vs 1k=bueno
That sounds cool...I just bought a 600w setup. Maybe I could trade my Phantom II for another blockbuster.

I wanted a thouie so I can get those tight commercial style buds.

Wanna start making money off this hobby. I have a fence for 2k elbows. Kid is family so I trust him.

Careful, those splitters are finicky and solis will only support using solis lamps with the splitter..
Hold off a bit and go with the allstart 860 on a sunplix , not sure how the sunplix for the 860 will be priced but I'm getting the 315 for $155 which is way reasonable.

You could actually just turn the piece of shit phantom ballasts and swap out with sunplix although you'd need a piece of shit hydrofarm to wtfever adapter.

Do you guys think this is a good idea for the home growers? Like would it sell?

A sprinkler system kit that one can put together at home.

Put my fire sprinkler knowledge to use.

Really digging Cage the Elephant. Quickly becoming one of my favorite bands.

First heard of them back in 2008 when they were opening for Queens of the Stone Age and a friend from their hometown was telling me about how she saw them open for QOTSA.

Guess she went to the same HS as cage the elephant band members. Must of been pretty cool.

208V is industrial, not sure how many phases.

Yes, dbkick proved the badass will drive an 860W.

Find them used from friends or Craigslist
