Pot size question

6 inch SMART POT is 1 gallon. That is the smallest size that SMART POT makes. Is that too big of a pot to plant a baby clone into. Would I be better off using a 4-inch plastic pot?
 
How much of a baby clone?

I usually start seeds in solo cups then 1 gal then 5, but might start going from cup to 5 gallon to reduce transplants......

I do not see why the 1 gal pot would give you any issues.

The Clones at that dispensary look to be about 5 to 6 inches tall.
 
One gallon is fine. A solo cup is what I start with, then one gallon pots, then depending on how long I plan to veg them, 2 gallon for 6+ week veg or final pot for 4-6 week veg.
