Defoliation question

condescendingly asking questions about plant anatomy doesnt help anyone, we all use defoliation because it works, i was honestly interested in why.

I've found there's 3 types of people here on this site.

People whom seek knowledge.
People whom teach knowledge.
People whom brag..

dont make fun of it.
sorry didnt mean to make fun, u said you were experimenting i wasnt hating on it, just saying that it looked like it had a serious case of nute burn which was probably more influential than the defoliation. On that note the defoliation probably caused the nute burn, when you defoliate some strains u have to tone back the nutes.

We have all already admitted to having no formal education on plants. Being as you seem to have a very strong understanding of the anatomy of plants can u please explain to us why defoliation works? Because it does.
If it did work then every farmer would use it. Companies spend millions of dollers a year on things like this.

if it worked dont you think someone would of done and posted the science. Science would be easy. 2 clones grown in the same way/same environment. One defoliated and one not. repeat the experiment 3 to 5 times..done.

My state grows lots of hydro tomatoes (which as we know are simmiler to the growing of cannabis) They dont defoliate.

I trim, prune and bend, I dont defoliate any plant..

If the science said to do so- i would.

Im not saying you cannot grow great plants and also defoliate, but you have to ask yourself would that been better if you didnt defoliate it?

i was pushing the snow storm and kool bloom a good bit. as long as the buds where not dying im happy, has you can see once trimmed it comes out fine. once water cured and aged you probably wont be able to tell what it had been through. it stinks too which is what i like to remove with water curing anyway it helps get rid of that smell.

Would you guy like to hear the science behind not defoliating? Or are you guy too closed minded?

Would you be willing to listen? Or is it completely out of the question?

So you claim to know enough about science to say with absolute certainty that it doesn't work? Keep waiting for someone to come explain to you the science while we witness the success every 8 weeks. We arent trying to convince you jesus christ or magic or some shit causes it. There is a scientific reason why it works, just neither you or I or anyone here knows why. I have witnessed it time and time again, i dont need a scientific explanation to prove it. I have flowered the exact same strain thousands of times in thousands of varying conditions/techniques and i know what works best, and for many strains it is defoliation.

If you did this for a living (which you keep saying you do) you should be able to answer his questions. You should know more about it than him. Clearly you dont.

That not true, I have science that suggests otherwise...
