I didn't have the heart to remove any of these 6 Mephistos Autoflowers.
Now I have spindly branches.

Should I let them just support each other?
Should I tie them up?

I'm afraid when the buds get heavier they will break the plants.

Get some of those bamboo stakes garden centers sell and jamb one in each pot to tie the main stem too then use twist ties to run from the center out to near the tops of each branch so it can't fall over. Cheap and easy and works damn good.

You can use string or wire too but I get that twist tie on a roll at garden centers so you just snip off what you need. Built in snipper on the roll too.

Plants are looking great by the way!

Yup. You can get the stakes also at Lowe and Home Depot and probably even Wal Mart with the twisty wire.

I think I saw those white plastic bags at the grow store. They seem to be doing a really good job on those plants.

Careful with those twist-ties Eugene! If they can retain moisture near the stem where they're tied, it will promote mildew!

Thanx for the pic of the tent interior showing a clip-fan connected to an upright. I went out and did the same thing. I have an oscillating fan on the floor, but the overhead fan helps now. I used a 2x4" piece of wet-suit foam inside the clamp surface to better grasp the 1/2 or less" white upright pole. Solid. Great fun.

Another thing to pay attention to is the stems getting fatter and having the twist tie cut into the stem!

Make sure they aren't too tight

Though controversial, I would do some defoliation once the buds are set well. When they're all crammed together like that the leaves block almost all light below the first few inches. I leave the bottom leaves on and remove the upper ones. Removing bottom leaf that's still alive is counterproductive because then you have no leaf at all practically, if you defol most of the top leaves. Lower leaves aren't causing a problem, it's the upper ones.
