400w cob

I'm unsure if one cob 400w would be enough for a 2x2x2x4 tent. Or two 400w?

Whats the extra dimension?

Iv used 250W fine in 3X3X5 (5X 50W)
Got 9.5 Ounce

This past grow went up to 457W and increase space to 3X3.5X5 (4X 50W 1X 257W)
Not noticed much difference other then harder to control temps.

Your biggest issue will be light spread from a single cob. So youd have to have it quite high up to get full coverage which 4 foot height of your tent wont give you.
IMO youd be better off with 2X 200W, Then step up to another 2X 200W when your ready to flower.
Thats true watts from the wall im talking about. Not the false claimed equivelent watts most places advertise as.

..Do they even make a single COB that uses 400w? Maybe a multiple-emitter fixture.

CLU058 - 3618 takes 400W happily with the right cooling.

I run mine 2x CXB3590 3500k 80CRI CD/Top Bin using 78w each (89w with fans) and then a Vero29C Seventh Gen 3500k 90CRI using 85w (92w with fans). Provides the same PPFD as a 600w HPS in a 4.5x4.5 for 241w.

Whats the extra dimension?

The other two varies on the height of the light in between 2-4 feet. What would be the best way to go with leds? I used way to much money on my last grow by using mh and hps + temps aren't helping. I have a $200 limit.
