Golly Gee Wilikers, I thought that the primary benefit and very purpose of "Affordable Health Care"---(Obamacare) was to reduce premiums, not to slow down the rate of increase?

Look at what the POTUS said:
“We’ll lower premiums by up to $2,500 for a typical family per year. .  .  . We’ll do it by the end of my first term as president of the United States”

What could have possibly gone wrong?

poopy pants this is a good example of how dumb a person can be. when you say she never paid in. can you tell me how the SS people figured out how much her SS check will be if she never paid into the program?

I don't get it, you bitch when human beings who you call moochers get affordable healthcare but corporate welfare Exxo/mobile, throw money at DOD, thats ok right?

It's called Affordable Care Act because it shouldn't be that a family of 4 (like my bowling partner) who has 4 part time jobs between him and his wife with 2 young children, never had health care until 5 years ago. He used the ER as his clinic then, now he can pay for his family's health care, or even my story my wife lost her job in April cause her position was eliminated due to co. Streamlining and I can't add her to my health coverage (I'm retired)
So i was paying $76 a month so she could have health care coverage (She has a job now that offers healthcare, thank God) don't need it anymore (ACA) but I was glad it was there.

ACA is based on household income but you still pay for it after the subsidy.
