How have you been affected? What changed in your day? Were you planning to marry someone from Iran next month? Is your paycheck smaller? What do you do for work? Are you just sad?
I disliked Obama for one reason only really, Obamacare. My monthly costs have almost doubled. My annual deductible and out of pocket limits has MORE than doubled. I would now have to spend TRIPLE my annual premium for insurance to even start kicking in, and only partially. I have the best insurance my company offers, PPO Blue Shield. Why am I paying so much more for less?? Is it because of the folks I'm subsidizing that pay next to nothing and are free to go as often as they want??
Millions of people experienced this, and many much worse than I.
There is two good things that did come out of Obamacare though, and I believe they will stay due to widespread popularity on both side of the isle. The first, insurers cant deny coverage (although I think they should price riskier plans higher just like someone with a bad driving record has expensive car insurance), and the second is allowing children to stay on parents insurance until age 26.
FYI, healthcare has always been subsidized. Its why someone with insurance pays more, and the homeless person off the street can walk into ER and be treated for $0 (as it should be, homeless still deserve healthcare).
No matter what position you take, this is a very complicated problem. One that should never have been approached by "passing it to find out whats inside" to quote Ms Pelosi...
Emergency services can't respond to those in need when roads get blocked,

I have PPO, just like you!
$175 a month, $300 total deductable a year. Wife has exactly the same.
You employer actually controls what those heaIth insurance policies contain, you know that, right.
Maybe your employer sucks like your fucking douche nozzel opinions.
Right to work state, sucker?
* before I retired, it was 100% free.
He is correct. When ACA went into effect, my company only selected plans which saved the corporation money, pushing cost onto the employees. Because it was offered through my employer, and I was over the earning threshold, I couldn't choose a out of company plan. My company could have easily choose plans that were more affordable to the employees at the same cost to the company as before, but they don't care.Im not sure you're comparison to yourself before you retired is comparable to now considering the regulations were entirely different then. Which is the exact point I'm making. You sound like a retired union worker, am I right? (notice a question rather than assumption)
