Actually, by the standards in use, it is short of perjury. Nobody is going to file charges for his lapse of forthcomieness. He left enough wiggle room. The real issue is his suitability of being AG after having knowingly misled the Senate under oath. Considering that his job is AG, it is probably going to be a big problem for him. No way he would be confirmed today.I just love his response like it is no big deal. Perjury is a huge deal, he'll the right wingers may call it treason.
The whole thing smacks of a badly done containment strategy. No wonder Trump is demanding 100% loyalty and has gone to war with the truth. He is testing his ability to stay in power in light of damning evidence which will likely be forthcoming. He knows it.
I want this to take a while. Let the country watch him die day by day until the flopsweat is unmistakable and his odor unavoidable.
