How do you treat small plants?

I've got some small clones. Typically I wait a week or two only giving ph'd water and transplant into a light feeding medium and start using liquid nutes 2-3 weeks later. However, I'm thinking bout adding in some of the additives before I start feeding. I'd like to start with a silica and a root inoculant. Specifically protekt and rapid start. But my girls are quite small. tiny stems, 2 nodes currently working on their 3rd. When can I start adding those? I'd hate to shock them being as small as they are.

They'll be fine just be light with the protekt as it's one of the stronger silica supplements. I use hydrogaurd from transplant at recommended dose pretty good stuff and will last long time at 2ml a gal

why not add those when your plant wants them, instead of when you want to tinker? I dont use either of those products and every seedling is fire in a 100 days or so, no chem bottles even its crazy

Not sure I understand. Neither for stimulator nor silica are necessities. The plant won't ask for them or need them, just something I'd like to provide

I use ROOT RIOT cubes/tray's.
They sit in that till the roots come out of the cube.
They go into my base soil (28 days of available feeding) in a SOLO cup.
The roots hit the bottom of the cup and just begin to coil.
It's into 1 gallon pots with the basic soil again, - roots get to the bottom and begin to coil.
Into 3 gallons with a veg built soil - at the time the plant hits my height requirement for flipping - into a 5 or a 7 and in bloom soil built towards that strain....Water it out till harvest..

Some organic supplementation is sometimes used.....heavy feeders are an example. Long runners are another.

Really wish I had the time and space for compost. But I use a similar system with coco. Solo cup, 3/4 gallon planter, to 5 gallon smart pot.

I forgot to say that once in the final (bloom) Pot. they sit in veg for 8-10 days and then get moved to the bloom area....
