I still remember being dragged to a Jerry Lewis movie when I wanted to see James Bond.
The popcorn was good though. Can't have everything when you're 8.

He was SO annoying, I never got the appeal. The only negative part is I guess thousands of unfortunate children will perish without his efforts...

I was around 6 or 7, Dad wanted to go see a Martin-Lewis movie( he loved Dino), I didn't want to go cuz by then I really disliked JL. Mom asked why and I said "He's always the same in everything and it's boring and he makes too much noise". Mom was proud and thought I was so mature; alas I disabused her of that notion quite soon
