I tried Mammoth P once and did not see anything significant in my results to justify the expense.
In los/ROLS that shit is completely unnecessary, just raises your chance for a tox issue: ). P boosters where designed for stripped / "dead" soils .......SFW does the work for us with fertile mediums. Not some $$ water with phos and dead bacteria, lol.

I should have been more specific but when I tried it was not doing the ROLS .........still didn't see anything that made it worth the expense to me lol.

What where you using evil?......... I've never tried it, don't plan to either , so that makes me just an opinionated asshole. If someone sticks it under a microscope and says it's "teaming with microbes" then I'll apologise, still would be overpriced though.....

Oh, it deff works, that's for sure.
I'm so glad to hear you're not getting any neg results from it. Did you try it off my recommendation? If so, I would've fealt terrible if it messed your shit up.
Guess I need to look deeper into my issues. It could be one of the many things I changed this year, or all of them, who freaking knows anymore.
All I know is I used to pull an average of 10#'s of bomb down every harvest n not anymore. Dying leaves, locked out plants, lack of smell, fluffy w/ mad popcorn. Just a total shit show.
Have you harvested n dried your material that you used the Dr. On?
I only used it in veg. The plants that may have had to much have something I call "The Sickness". Many times they look great in veg (slower growth though) & then in flower they shit the bed.
Signs of "the sickness" in veg are: slower growth, smaller leaves, when you break a branch you'll see fine fibers (hairs) connecting them, difficulty cloning, & last but not least, a nasty white ooze comes out of the stalk & sometimes clones when cut.
The only plants to have "The Sickness" we're ones I treated w/ the Dr.
Just be careful brother. Not to much, & use it when they're young.
I hit plants in veg, hit them in flower, and even sprayed a batch 2 weeks before harvest. Saw no negative side effects.
Only reason I wouldn't recommend using in the last half of flower is the phos/potassium becoming available while your trying to run them out of food during flush.

If I were you I would back track and get rid of everything you changed. Go back to what worked tonight!!
Nutrient changes are always nerve racking and anyone who says "all nutrients are the same" should be completely ignored on any further growing suggestions.
Then throwing a lighting change on top of it and you are just putting yourself in the middle of a storm of problems to come with every one of them needing to be figured out on the fly

I tried it in coco and hydro. Saw nothing that made me feel it was worth the expense of running it. Like you said even if someone said hey look at the shot from the microscope etc it would still be a huge expense to stomach in my humble opinion.

Girls were top dressed with Biofish tonight and watered with plain tap water. Everyone was in need of water big time. The 4 Auto's under the COB's were fed according to the Nectar for the Gods feed schedule. They're the last 4 left in coco everyone else is in dirt. The plants in the 4x8 continue to adjust well to the soil. I will be defoliating soon then taking cuts and loli popping before flipping to 12/12. It was nice tonight to just drag the hose into the g'room and water lol. Only needed to mix water and nutes once for the COB tent.

Thanks for checking in :peace:

Cool! So the Raptors seam to be working out w/ the 600's?
BigSmo used to grow that HubbaBubbaSmellascope & liked it. Gave home some big yields if I remember correctly. Like 1.5# using 3 plants under his SE-450's.
I was reading on the Bodhi seed web-site & the autos available look tempting these days.
Trying to find the smelliest most desired strains that can compete in this crazy mkt & still produce decent yields. I'm totally lost though. Where I'm at, if it's not candy coated crystals & super pungent smell, then they're off to the next guy, no matter how good it may smoke. It's just not right.
Does anyone have any suggestions of a dank strain to get & from what seed bank? I've never grown from seed all the way through but am eager to get going on it. About to run some LA Woman (phenos 1-5), Zombie OG (2 phenos) & Purple Chem (1 pheno). This will be my first attempt @ pheno hunting. They're first gen clones from seed that have already been sexed. Didn't top, pinch them or anything. So I guess it'll be my first attempt @ a SOG too. Also flowering them in so called 3 gall pots I got from the grow store. Weird cuz they are about half the size of the 3's I use to veg for the second month. They're not even as big as the 2 gall buckets I get from the Depot to cure & store.
Your plants are so full n beastly. Good job! You've worked hard & tried so many different styles,mediums,lights,nutes,ext...to get where you're at w/ the big tent. I think you're gonna do awesome.
Have you decided whether you're gonna cage them, scrog them or what?
My GG's were getting to tall, so I bunched them up about neck height & just cut like 18"-2' right off the top. Super-Topping I like to call it. Didn't want to cut all those main branches as they produce the biggest colas but hey, we gotta do what we gotta do right!?!
Yeah, I'll show you a pic of my GG's later on as I'm moving them into the flower room. No where near as nice as yours look. All appears pretty healthy though so hopefully my last run of this year will be a success. Long over due.
I'm doing the side by side just to make sure I want all led for 2018. All yr I messed up my runs using Plant Dr. I think so I now need another true assessment of my lighting to be sure it hasn't contributed to my losses. I doubt it but it's time to refresh my memory as far as the differences go.
I know the LEDs are deff not cooler then vented hps, that's for sure. At least not w/ the drivers built into the housing. I feel that's a terrible design issue that many of these led comp. are not addressing because most purchasers are using them in smaller environments w/o CO2 & an exhaust constantly running. Guess I'll just have to get my mini-split re-installed.
Damn, rambling on the toilet.
Your thread is one of the better ones Evil, keep up the good work my man!
Yeah I am trying the HBS based on Smo's recommendation. He said I need to do a run with a large strain auto to see what I can do so we will see. Smo has never steered me wrong so I snatched like 40 seeds of the HBS.

For me the Raptors are doing fine so far with the two 600's. We will see how this run flowers out, veg and flower are 2 different test for any light. But so far I have no complaints. I picked up the Raptors at the recommendation of brother @OneHitDone

I will let you know how the HBS does for me and report back to you if it's all Smo says it is might be the ticket you were looking for. I can tell you some of the best buds I have grown so far were auto's. My GG#4 girls have bushed up nicely but they will get a good strip down soon. I am getting anxious to flip the lights, my Big Doggie Dreams girl is turning into a monster. And I'm dying to flower her out, smells so freaking dank man just like the Satori male but with a hint of the Chemdogging. I might start germing some of my second cross Nightmare Kush soon, that was the Satori Male x Narcotic Kush Auto. Trying to create some stuff that will work for me with my meds and well I have just gotten hooked on breeding man it's a lot of fun and your imagination is your only limit honestly. But I have a lot of beans to go through still my own, some that have been gifted to me by fellow growers, and a ton in my stash from when I went crazy last year buying stuff. Really wish I had more space but hey I'm good where I'm at. Can't complain man, family supports what I am doing and I'm helping myself and a few others out, feels good.

Maybe when then COB tent is done I should toss a few cuts of my fems and the Satori male in and let them do their thing, then I can be done with that and will have plenty of beans to go through for a while. I have somehow despite how discrete I have been, started a name for myself locally and have a couple guys that want to give me stuff to breed with as well. Suppose to get a "purple male" tomorrow from one buddy, we will see what the strain is when I get it. He's growing out one of my doggie dreams crosses too and says it's a monster and the only plant in his 4x4 he's going to SCROG it. Will be interesting to see his results. He's under an HPS too. Then the Disabled Vet I'm helping out to get going is insisting I take a few cuts from him off of his wonder woman. Just a lot happening at once. But it keeps me busy and happy. Running low on supply right now because of the SBA's I had to chop recently so I hope the Skywalkers will be good quality as well as the auto pounder. I think yield wise it's going to be low so hope the quality is good. Not too excited about the yields from what I see and I don't know if it's just genetics or me running a new line of nutes for them in coco, we will see. I also let them dry out too much a couple of times that surely didn't help any.

Anyways brother hope I answered your questions and thanks for the kind words. Like I said before if there's anything you want to discuss just send me a pm or post here. Always glad to have you around.

Off topic. But do you still have that Inda-Gro light? What are your thoughst on it vs a COB array?

They actually changed one of their live ads on the home page to a ceramic HPS one that says "coming soon" so fingers crossed. I will be ordering one soon as I can.
I'm a lil lost as to why you went back to bulbs when your LED lights were doing so well for you?

I also think ceramic HPS is dead in the water, crushed between 315W CMH and advancing LED technology.

I'm curious to hear your thoughts.

We have discussed why I went back to bulbs in PM and this thread. Cost. I had the ballast and bulbs here already; to outfit the 4x8 with COB lights would not be cheap and on a fixed income (disability) was not an option right now for me.

As for the Ceramic HPS I will disagree. I think what we will finally see is technology like the 315's with a similar spectrum but more horsepower to better penetrate which is where the 315's lack in my opinion.

Also plain and simple I was not happy with how the QB's we're growing my plants especially in veg. Hence why they're gone and the COB's are not.

^^^^^looks like the horti blue 600w mh is protected now?,open fixture rated?.........

No but a 600 watt metal halide is actually a conversion HPS. So it looks different.

The 400 and 1000 are true metal halides. Hortilux explains that there is no 600 watt true metal halide ballast or bulbs in the industry.

Really? all 600w mh bulbs on the market are conversion, looks like a halide arc to me. in the pics ^^ 600w a longer lamp base/pin" vs unprotected 1000w , seems like it would work on open fixtures...............I've been out of the hid game so long now, so idk
