Merry Christmas Justin

But he has such great hair...like Alfalfa from the Lil Rascals.

Those socks squeal with ecstasy, as they ponder
a miserable existence achieving nothing more than a photo-op,
breeding Bromodrosis-bearing bacteria beneath a garish, blue suit,
hidden from view of the median voter.

But what Canada needs to know is...

Did he dress himself that morning? Diversity is our strength, especially in accoutrement selection.

And replace him with whom? Little Andy Scheer who want's to use religion as a guide to control you? Every other party will repeal legalization and put us back into the prohibition era. You don't have to like Trudeau to understand that the others are much, much worse. Be careful what you ask for.

Liberals SHOULD have had a minority gov't. But we probably would be going to an election if that was the case.
Not that I mind more frequent voting.
I wouldn't mind going to the polls every couple years, but does that make for a fruitful gov't?
Perhaps not...China does things in "5 year plans" and that's a benchmark for others to measure against. It implies that gov'ts need more time to leverage their power in getting a task accomplished (due to scale). But if their vision comports with the desires of the "majority" (i.e. 60%+), they would have no problem in a biannual electoral cycle. It'd be little more than the equivalent of a health check at the GP's office when one already knows their health is fine.

Then there is the Senate :finger:
By Appointment Only... I suppose one could see it as a lottery; some people win, some people lose.
But when a lottery is exclusive to a very limited group of citizens with personal ties to gov't officials, is it really a representative pool of Canada?

How's that electoral reform coming along, anyway? OH....right

Fuckin Canadian politics...sigh

Couldn't agree more Chris. Although their is certainly a ton of shit to work out I still think things are heading in the right direction.

While it sounds reasonable at the outset, I worry it would just result in a more rapid flip flop from one party to another as has been the case for many years.

agreed on no real choice
andy is chicken/pc like all of them and thinks he must present the "diversity" thingy or he will not get votes...
thing is ...parroting jt will just give jt votes.
he needs to present the "other" side..not jt "lite"
