btw if you didn't realize by now that my first post was HIGHLY sarcastic. yes, I did see him and no it wasn't that cool like EVERYONE in media and magazines makes him out to be. They portray him like a rock star so I figured I'd make an air-headed post as if he was a rock star.

Funny, I was just talking with a friend of mine who's from Rumania. We were making the comparison of O'Bama and the Rumanian dictator Nicolae Ceausescu. She was making the comparison between their speeches. She said that Ceausescu made beautiful speeches, very dynamic and inspiring, just like O'Bama. And just like O'Bama ... said exactly nothing. She said to tell you O'Bama supporters to wake up before its to late. (no lie)

at the end of the day, all political discussion is just a juvenile joke. i've found that if you can't laugh at the absurdity of it all then you'll probably end up screaming and you just might not be able to stop (take my word for it, a straitjacket is anything but comfortable). what is pathetic is anyone who takes it all so seriously; the political animals in our various capitols, the overly enthusiastic volunteers for this cause and that, the partisan patriot, the fervent believer..... they're all in a state of sad denial of the fact that little of this crap is really of any consequence. these short sighted bumpkins seem to think that a few paltry dollars shoved here or there are going to make a difference in a world gone mad.
sit back and enjoy the ride, that is my advice, it ends soon enough.
