You dont need the calmag dude not if you saturate the coco.
What do you do for the K???
Biggest problem in coir is not flushing the old salts through in your runoff. Everytime.
Which is exactly what was happening.
Its the same as underwatering a garden and giving it frequent waterings. All the salts build and burn the plant.
Its only amplified in coir.
His plant was on the mend within the hour. Then extra nutes were added the next day.
You have to buffer all media. Coco in small quantities is FANTASTIC for soil especially during flower, because of its CEC.
600ppm is way, way, waaaaaaaay too much for a plant that size. Especially coir. If you dont flush it all out each feed, it builds and the next time you feed you're fucked, and its lockout again.
Best of luck lennut. Really.
Admittedly doesn't own a ppm or pH meter. Yet he is telling you how important it is to measure runoff.
Grows with tap water, not RO water. Yet tells you that buffering coco with CalMag is not needed.
And he calls you an idiot Lennut, too funny. The only I can see that would make you an idiot is listening to this him. I think it's obvious who is the idiot here. And it's certainly not you or I.
Tim your advice is wrong with no foundation or merit. Would you please start a grow journal. I think many of us would really enjoy watching your grow progress.
