it sort of self fills. when i hit it it pulls up water from the bottom into the center. unless i have the main stem barely under then it is what it is.

Yea well lookin from the pics, you have the water filled up too much because its a strait shot, so thats why the water from the bottom is filling up the perc, like the perc, the water needs to be like a lil above the diffuser, trust me can tell the difference, when i use my RooR that is a strait shot, and i use ice, when it melts it fills up fast and dosnt hit as good when there is water and inch above the diffuser
