Portable AC question

Not sure how any of these idea's make you more stealth. Why not just get a real a real ac system installed, tell them you want two zones for a later upgrade. Then add the return, supply etc later yourself. Would pay itself off in efficiency and comfort everywhere in your home.

Put a 90° on the intake flange with the AC's on that wall. A 90° at the corner and the chimney.

You have any idea how hot the temperature of the exhaust air is from the AC units? Can't find anything about it.

Also can't find any local suppliers of rigid ducting so it's gonna cost a bomb if not doing flex

There's no physical way to get the gas lines from where I need it to the outside without drilling directly through my floor taking it directly through a bedroom then through a kitchen then outside. Having a 3 ton AC unit going outside melting all the snow and ice would look very suspicious.

Having a chimney pumping out heat not so much

Trying to find out how hot it is to see if I can use a cheaper type of rigid pipe

I've tried to Google it a couple of times and I think I'm just not reading deep enough into the search results to find it.

Same I've been googling it for days and can't find out. Manufacturers won't tell me after I've emailed them as they don't recommend changing the exhaust hose and just tell me it depends on the temperature of the room that's being cooled...

Only option really is if someone has a portable Ac for them to check temp for me

If I had one I would. You may be able to call around to local hvac contractors. Some may not feel very inclined to help someone for free but if you're polite and tell them that you're just hoping to get an answer for one quick question you can usually find someone who will take the few moments to talk to you about it.

You could also call the manufacturer of what ever brands of inline fans are available where you are and ask them

I've shot off a few emails today hoping for a reply but upon thinking about it, the exhaust air of an AC unit can't be that hot surely as all it does is transfer heat from the intake to the exhaust.

If my room is 34c without AC and my ac shifts 10c to the outside I very much doubt the AC exhaust air has the ability to heat up above 40c surely? And most pvc is fine below 60c

You could also see if there aren't any contractors that would sell you what you need.
