I have them in peat pellets inside the plastic dome they come with. I figure they won't get much light until they break through the peat and by then they need light anyways so I think it should be ok.

Coloradoclear Well-Known Member Jul 5, 2018 #5 If they are in pellets, they will need the heat from the light (or heat mat) to germinate. So technically they are in the dark (in pellet).

Humidity is a little low in my tent. I'm gonna have to spray my pants but with the dome under the light it seems to keep inside the dome pretty humid.

Your call When I use a dome on a clone I spray inside the lid but not the clones.
