So I'm looking to buy a 4x2x6 tent, but may consider getting a 5'. Ideal plan for this tent is to scrog it with 2 plants, running 300w samsung led strip light. So maybe 5' won't be a huge problem since I'm using a scrog, but the extra height is always nice.
I have a 2x2x4 and 48" is not very tall at all after minus light hanging, pot, and everything else to factor in when growing in a tent. I can pretty much grow my plants to 8-9" before I have to flower them considering they'll double in height, so I can only get my plants about 16-18" tall from the base of soil. With an extra 12" I can get them roughly 2.5 feet tall max which seems ok for a 4x2 scrog set up. But like I said having the extra foot could help a ton.
I can find a good 4x2x5 for about $60-75, but all 6' tall tents seem to be very cheaply made or they're brands like SGS or mars hydro that charge $120 a tent.
1.Are mars hydro tents that durable and worth the extra money?
2. Will 12" with the way I plan to grow make a huge difference or should I just roll with a 5'?
3. Anyone have a brand they recommend when it comes to tents? I currently use a coolgrows.
