Male?

Newer plant I’m almost 100% sure it’s a male but this is my 2nd grow and I had no male plants on the first one. Thought I’d double check before I took it out because it will likely die after because it’s too hot here.

Keep watching that little sac thing behind that pointy thing... if a hair comes out of it in the next week or so, female... if that little sac thing forms bigger with no hair, male.

I personally think that's a female plant. Now I've only ever identified a handful of males as I usually grow fems; so I could be speaking with a little inexperience.

Post another pic in a week if you don't yank it by then.

You can't really rush it. With photos it doesnt matter how old they are. Some genetics show preflower warly, some dont.

I would wait longer... dknt waste your harvest because of impatience.

I’m no expert but the advice that I got was to cover the male and cut it out as soon as you can confirm it. I know it’s some anxiety bro, im in the same boat.

Males need to be removed before they can pollinate the females.

Males create pollen sacks that fill and eventually burst tossing pollen into the air. When that pollen makes contact with the pistols of a female, it sticks. Eventually that pollen makes its way into the calyx(female's little sacks that produce the seed) and then continue to form a seed with the genetics of both male and female plants.

Males aren't "dangerous" until pollen is created, which is within a few days of the pollen sacs forming. Typically the pollen sacks aren't overly sensitive when they are young so as long as you aren't bashing the plant around when you remove it you are ok.

You can wait until you can confirm sex and everything will be just fine.

In my experience, the males tend to produce shorter and less pointy of those little jagged things in your pictures. Everytime I've seen those, within a week or so into the 12/12 I start seeing sacks with hairs form just behind it. All the males that I've ever identified (only a handful) they didn't really have those little pointy things, and the sacks form before, or very early into 12/12.

I've also had a few females show pistols before 12/12 but they usually only did that if I accidentally stressed them out.

Did it end up a male or female ? Have a plant that looks like that
