FresnoFarmer's 2019 Backyard Grizzy

December harvest should be good for extracts the resin just seems to spray out of them because of the airy buds.Looking good over there it seems you solved the soil pest problems, you had me paranoid i did a neem soil drench on all my plants

Haha I still have some fruit flies, a few runaway root aphids and a few fire ants in the area but nothing like before. I have dragon flies, green lacewings and wasps putting in work too. Saw them when I was spraying neem oil last night. I just hope they don't come back again because I just got this hedge recovering.IMG_20190901_130736.jpg

I think i found a few of those aphids in the soil of this one. They wiped out the bottom half of this one & the resin production seems way short

That sucks dude. If you saw a few then there are probably hundreds, if not thousands of them around and in the root ball. In soil it sucks because you don't see then until it's an infestation. Once I noticed mine 3 days later my plants had already dropped at least 100 leaves. And in flower there is not much you can do but maybe water with nematodes, caps bennies, or botanigard maybe? Enzymes will help break down the dead roots and clear the white waxy secretions off the live roots. Root aphids are some crafty fucks.

in the presence of root aphids, do the yellowed leaves come off as easily as in nitrogen deficiency or do they offer some resistance?

They're growing fast man, nice!
Thanks. And yes, they're growing like wildfire. I'm taking this as a sign that ive got the root aphids under decent control. Only been giving them water and enzymes as of late. I might top dress with kelp and some guano next watering. Every thing is growing like a motha fucka right now. Might flip this sooner than anticipated. Frown starting to turn upside down. Hedge is showing signs of recovery. Praising the sun and new growth coming in hot the past few days. Maybe the full moon had something to do with the recovery? Took some time, but patience is a virtue.IMG_20190915_100438.jpg

Supercropping for canopy control. I'm either going to have to raise the greenhouse a couple feet or flip these real soon. IMG_20190915_091155.jpg
