if you bake your edibles it automatically decarbs anything that is not active ;)
The ardent precisely decarbs it though. Then i make edibles. I love the ardent.

Baking it in the oven works. The Ardent is the most efficient. When i get my personal 10 pound hoard (working on it) then i will not care so much about that extra few percent.

:)

The oven is sure cheaper and it cant break like that flimsy ardent.

Baking it in the oven in something (cookie or brownie batter) will decarb it but not nearly as effectively as a decarb on a tray. Cooking oil does something that effects the decarb process (slows it down).

There are many articles about it.

But if you have supply who cares....cookie sheet it and it makes a HUGE difference to decarb it first. Oven or otherwise. Because fully decarbed weed has the highest conversion to THC-A which you can use.

Decarbing CBD strains take longer. Almost double the amount of time for that conversion.

That was part of a different article but interesting.

anything that isnt active............
WILL BE ACTIVE ONCE IT'S COOKED!
It takes 30 to 45 minutes to cook edibles:idea:
It takes less than 15 mins at 200 plus to decarb oil or rosin

IN spite of this ANY HERB that is BONE DRY is said to be decared anyway.
Decarbing happens naturally as it dries
Heat
only Speeds up the process
ITS NOT NEEDED by the way

If that were true...you would get baked eating old bone dry weed. And that aint true.

Eating a decarbed bud will fuck you up. If it is decarbed right.

But to each their own. Decarb as you will.

Ingesting dry weed that has not been decarbed will not get you high. Cured in a jar or hung from a branch...regardless.

Hash will get you high but eat a gram of decarbed hash and you will see that shit rings the bell.

that's just dumb man, and totally not true...I eat 2 grams of cured bud and I get high as fuck, way more high then some store bought edible. Ever try eating 2 grams of dried, cured bud? Tastes like shit but does the trick boss. Sometimes I nuke it in butter in a small tiny bowl first.

yeah, the oven is 200...but the interior of your brownies never get over 165 degrees....
you have to add time if you take away temperature.....i decarb in a crock pot overnight. let it boil for 2 hours, then put it on simmer overnight. i know it works, people knock down my door for the candy i make...

:idea:IT HAPPENS NATURALLY over time.... YOU DON'T NEED HEAT
:idea:HEAT ONLY SPEEDS UP THE PROCESS

Keep up the stupidity............... it's awesome to show !(:

Eat more decarbed brownies man. Go back to fighting the man.

I am referring to the eating of the actual bud and not baking it again in a finished product. I eat flowers that have been decarbed. I have eaten a half quarter of properly cured and dried buds and it did nothing but irritate my bowels.
2 grams of properly decarbed flowers eaten will result in ingesting 400 to 500mg of THC A
And there is no irriration because the THC your body rejects has been converted to what is useable.

Science and shit. Tons of explanations online. But I am out. Back to just posting pics of buds.

PEACE !

The two main catalysts for decarboxylation to occur are heat and time. Drying and curing cannabis over time will cause a partial decarboxylation to occur. This is why some cannabis flowers also test for a presence of small amounts of THC along with THCA. Smoking and vaporizing will instantaneously decarboxylate cannabinoids due to the extremely high temperatures present, making them instantly available for absorption through inhalation.

While decarboxylated cannabinoids in vapor form can be easily absorbed in our lungs, edibles require these cannabinoids present in what we consume in order for our bodies to absorb them throughout digestion. Heating cannabinoids at a lower temperature over time allows us to decarboxylate the cannabinoids while preserving the integrity of the material we use so that we may infuse it into what we consume.

it all about personal chemistry...a one inch square of the fudge i make will make just about everyone i've ever given it to retarded. it does just about nothing to me. i've eaten 3 pieces of it and just gotten a buzz. one that lasted all day, but i was far from incapacitated. 2 pieces made my "hardcore" friend who dabs all the time stupid, then he slept for 6 hours...
i have a high tolerance for edibles. i can't dab like he does, a couple of good dabs and i'm retarded, looking for a place to nap....
no matter how you indulge, it will effect you differently than it will the person next to you...
i can and do hit a bong all day long....most of my friends that stop by ask for a bowl, they say they have trouble driving home if they smoke my weed out of a bong....

I was given this by a buddy to help me sleep.
it is 250mg for 4 chocolates or 62.5 mg per.with 5 grams chocolate. and 20 grams chocolate total.
The full dose under the 5mg max guideline would see me eating 50(hopefully smaller pieces of chocolate.)...
which could be problematic since I'm also diabetic...

This. Decarbing can intensify the potency but you can still make plenty of edibles without it. That said, it really is worth it if you're looking for the best bang for your buck.
Aged product doesn't require decarbing and often, especially if it aged in a sealed container, can be even more potent than rapidly decarbed flower.

they advise people to decarb using heat because
Most times herb is Not Bone dry,,,, or completely active...its just not sold that way (: it activates as ya smoke at above 350 and yer liver takes up what yer lungs take in and................... YA get high... :)
Once Herb is BONE DRY ..............ITS ACTIVE.................... AND DECARBED
.Hope this helps
