Anyone having issues getting MC to dissolve fully? I fill up 500 ml jars with hot water, dump in 15g of MC and then seal it up and shake it to dissolve. I shake for a couple minutes, but there's always a decent amount of powder at the bottom. It doesn't matter if I just keep shaking the jar for longer, or let it sit, there's always powder at the bottom.

I thought maybe I just reached the limit of how much could dissolve in 500 ml of water, so I waited for it to settle, then I poured off the solution and then put in some fresh water, and it still wouldn't dissolve, which kind of leads me to believe that it's precipitating out due to it being a 1 part and having things that shouldn't be together in 1 package, but I figure if that was the case there wouldn't be a whole bunch of people raving about it.

The plants look healthier than when I was using Jack's 3-2-1 so the results are good... just has me worried that things will precipitate out in my res and clog my drip lines/pumps.

I found cold RO better than hot.

Only guessing the hot water could be melting the powder together in a bad way vs dissolving - boom precip.

Last run used Jacks with success. Previously MC 1 and 2.0. Yet to use 2.1 MC.

I'm using tap, fairly low ppm (I think). I measured with a cheapy tds meter but it died after being used 2 times so who knows how accurate it was. This was a year ago, the number that sticks out in my mind was 74 ppm but my memory is shit, no idea which scale.

I'll try cold next time, the water wasn't boiling hot or anything, I'm able to hold my hand under it.

My tap is around 40ppm cold.
Out of the hot water heater, 120ppm.

Separated the balls from the powder.

Balls - 167g, powder - 310g. Total - 477g.

So I'm thinking 0.5g balls to 1g powder while mixing. Thoughts?

Actually it took just a few minutes using a mesh strainer. We don't really have a choice here, GH and AN are available but that too is mostly out of stock.

I did but i never try without ...
Everyone have great succes with only megacrop .
I just got my m.c. yesterday ,, I been looking for a 1 part Fert. mixing all 5 different stuff gets old ,
so I'm hoping only using the m.c. will do the job .
Have you used it through a grow yet ? Just wondering is 9 % nitrogen to much in bloom stage , or is the balance just right to offset it ?

Is there anything in Mega Crops formula that would react negatively with chlorine, affecting pH? I'm wondering if the organic amino acid chelation will tolerate this? Do anyone run Mega Crop with Pool Shock (Calcium hypochlorite)?
