How tf do you decide strains?

I have bought several strains in the past from europe just going by what I have heard of. Currently I'm just growing critical kush which has been a good strain but everyone keeps hyping that american strains are somehow better in every way and I want to try some have looked at some american seed banks but damn they all have crazy names and there's so many choices it seems impossible to choose. It seems like a lot of these seeds are incredibly expensive although I cannot remember what I paid for the seeds I currently have, am growing and have grown from.

So many choices of crazy names my head spins, how do you decide?

same issue here..... apparently all the euro strains I'm familiar with are 'mids at best' now. Im going to try "blackened oranges" from useful seeds next assuming my black friday order arrives smoothly.
What seed bank did you order those through?

Wow with a pic of I assume you waving the US flag next to your name I would think that would be hard to swallow. What strains did you try? It would definitely be nice to know what to avoid.

I went with DCSE for some black friday specials. I'm still going to run c99 from a few different breeders just to see if I can find the pineapple pheno. Always wanted to try that and dont care if there are stronger things out there now.

I don't know if those pineapple pheno's you are talking about are related to the barney farms pineapple chunk or not but I've grown that before and really liked it myself.

personally, just something better than I get local off the market. Running some blueberry cheesecake at the moment, with bubblegum and madberry up next. Still getting dialed in and dont want to waste the expensive genetics yet.
That's cool I get most of them on sale like thug pug is around 60 a pack at some places and exotic genetics are 60 at seedsherenow for strains like cream n tina that won a cup. Save up for 420 sales theres always a ton like bogo packs.

Anything with dosidos, gg4, sundae driver, ogkb, orange cookies, tropicana cookies, ect in it is a good bet. Thug Pug, Cannarado, dungeon vault, obsoul33, oni, symbiotic, csi humboldt, secret society seed co, ect. What are you looking for specifically?
I like what I am growing now, huge dense buds sweet taste I feel like its decently potent but if the american strains are that much more potent well I'll take it.

I wouldn't mind growing something skunkier might be kinda nice but I don't wanna sacrifice yield and I don't want some strain that might be known to be more difficult to grow or anything.

The biggest and most fruity Im growing now is useful's orange cookies x chocolate diesel but most my strains are small to average yield depending how you grow. I have a killer Cannarado banana sundae right now that's real grapey but not the greatest yield and useful gg4 x chocolate diesel that looks to be an average yielder. Wedding cake, gelato 33, the sauce, triangle kush, american kush, headbanger, atonic(cbd) x apollo 13 and chocolate sunset are what I also have going now.

Bullshit and hype! I've been buying seeds for 25 years. Started with Marc Emery all the way to US banks. Some breeders have keeper plants no matter where there from. The guys that say one is better then other are blinded by there own convinced thoughts. I get fire keepers from US and European breeders. Shit plants from US and Europe. Find what you like strain wise and follow the genetics to a good bank or straight to the breeder on IG. Buy what you want and don't worry about the guys biased one way or another, it's just there opinion.
