Depending on your electricity costs that 120 watts could be costing you between $40 (6c/kWh) to $200+ a year. Like others have said, I think everyone has their own specific circumstances whether it be space, geography, money, etc.
Yea its a cost savings for sure, but not my main reason for using LED.
Not trying to throw shade but those aren't true results or even proof so much as claims. Results would come in the form of proper paperwork done by whichever company they had testing the product since I guarantee they don't have the means to do so being that they are just a company selling fixtures. If that was my company and I wanted to prove my claim of higher % I would have 100% have paper evidence of the claims, not a simple bar graph that can be put together by anyone at anytime.
I’d be sceptical too considering the marketplace but CLW has a strong history of good products and service way back to their solar storm880.
Anyone with half a brain should be skeptical lol, when they had their product tested the company would have sent them proper results with tons of info, that is something that you'd think they would want their customers to see being that they make such a claim. If they did test their product then they have the papers just decided to instead use a bar graph made by them lol, doesn't add up to trustworthy transparent marketing. Most companies make their own par chart and display it while true honest with nothing to hide companies send their fixture out to be tested by a reputable 3rd party and then post the paper results from said company showing ppf values etc with info that most companies don't even know how to properly calculate.
It was a collaboration between a grower and CLW, it’s possible they didn’t get these specific results from the grower since they probably weren’t still standing there months later. I’m not trying to justify it, I only provided this because someone said there is absolutely no data out there. Cheers.
