Lots of those people just decided not to pay because they heard if they give a letter to their landlords they don’t have to for a few months. Everyone is going to be fucked when they spend all Their stimulus money on booze and bullshit and then quarantine ends and they owe back rent they’ll never catch up on. Landlords are getting really the shit end of the stick here. There are proposals to make landlords here pay 10% of insurance and give ownership rights to tenants in sales of property out here. Bill Won’t pass, but people are stupid and greedy, it Sucks for all the property owners that provide spaces for people to live that are being taking advantage of by idiot people.

i'm not a contractor..i was an employee of which my company got rid and replaced with contractors..they're being paid .58/mile IRS. period. using their own car etc. but their time is not being covered obvi.

i'm getting UI + $600/week..it'll work out the same. the $600 weekly is good until September. I get Peak Medicaid and my SNAP starts on the 5th for full amount. i'm making more now than i was working + 5-8 hours OT..i also went to a group that assists rent so they paid my month of May because i didn't have my UI approval until end of April..i don't believe in sticking my landlord because the cash has been provided for through this and UI.

Some of us have moral compass..others? Western Spirit. that's what they call it out here:lol: the clue is: Mountian Dew and Smokes..what's the Password?

i really like you, but 3-day notices are pretty harsh; we remember the 'normal' times.

You can’t evict anyone where I live right now, indefinitely. I’m generally talking about a small pocket of Southern California because I’m not attached to the rest of the world anymore. I agree with you, there’s a lot of really fucked up shit going on right now. It probably wouldn’t be happening as fast/frequently if the govt didn’t threaten to do things like take 10% of a property I bought and own and just giving it to the people that live in it that used to pay rent that no longer are required to. There is a proposal in my area that would force landlords that have lost their incomes from their tenants to then give property rights to the people living on their property for free, and pay for their livelihoods. My question is, with the loss of the rental income...how are the landlords supposed to now cover their own livelihoods AND the livelihoods of their tenants coinciding with income loss?

The rational is just not there and it’s scaring property owners, people are fucking up on both sides, I just hate watching stupid irrational shit
